I think every student should be issued a surplus hand grenade, and sit in class with the pin pulled and ready to toss at an armed intruder. They can reinsert the pins between classes.
I have to admit, stoning a shooter does have its appeal. What the hell, at this point, ANYTHING sounds better than thoughts and prayers.
Even though it sounds nutty as a fruitcake... I agree. The reality that if a lunatic starts shooting, having 20-30-40-50 rocks flying at him could mean the difference between a tragedy and a massacre. When the government fails (as it did at every level in Florida) the people have to fill in the gaps. This isn't a bad idea.
so what happens the first time a student is injured with one of these river rocks? are the rock grabbers going to call for rock control? will they want to ban assault rocks? will they call for back ground checks for rocks? will they require that one be at least 18 before buying rocks? are they going to then demonize the NRRA(national river rock association) by calaling them a terrorist organization?
