I agree that Trump really is that dumb, but there's no way he didn't know anything if there was indeed shady business going on aroind him, which I'm fairly certain there was.
Trump is known for being OCD about any issues
So the idea that he allows all these people free rein to do whatever they think will best protect Trump is hogwash...
Over the past several weeks, some talking heads have been speculating that the FBI was going to raid Cohen's office/residence. FBI is unlikely to find anything Cohen did not intend for them to find.
Counsel for Stormy Daniels has a copy of the non-disclosure agreement on Trump Org Letterhead. Cohen disclosed he took out a home equity loan to pay Stormy Daniels off. Trump denies knowledge of it.
Who knows how many Trump Org things Cohen has been involved with that Trump was unaware of. One would think Trump would want to get to the bottom of a rogue attorney who creates contracts in his company's name and pays off people, out of his pocket.
Instead, Trump fires off Witch Hunt tweet # 500. Makes no sense.
WaPo reports wire fraud, bank fraud, and election fraud charges...
Re the Daniels's payoff I guess
So that is why it is going through the Southern District office
There is no priviledge for an attorney who commits fraud to help his/her client
That attorney becomes part of a conspiracy to conceal or commit a crime when he joins with his client in breaking the law
Not very likely, unless the smoking gun is apocalyptic in scale. A simple majority in the House is all it takes to impeach, but the Senate requires a 2/3 majority vote to convict - which means that at least 15 Republican Senators would have to vote against Trump. I don't see that happening.
Mmm.... I know this may be hard to comprehend, but Cohen's only client is the President - who (last time I checked) was a part of the Administration.

Ok, because Cohen and Trump both saying he was never part of the administration or the Campaign isn't enough I just pulled the public filing for who worked for the Campaign and who is in the administration. Gess what, Cohen's name isn't on either. By your logic, anyone who has contact with the POTUS from the VP to some guy Trump shakes hands within the street and everyone in between is part of the Campain and the Administration. Technically I am part of the Campain and the Administration because I donated money to Trump.
The FBI has gone full rogue.....clearly it is infested with Swamp Creatures.....hateful unAmericans out to conduct a coup on our President. Its an assault , an actual one , on our nation and the rule of law on which it is based.
They should be dealt with. Disbanded. Jailed. Executed. What have you. Whatever it takes to get rid of these enemies of our country.
