Fact is, Trump was upholding a law already on the books, doesn't matter who writes what articles...that is their opinion, and it is my belief, that everyone, even you, has a right to their own opinion and that doesn't make anyone less of a person....

Cite the law.

You can't, because there is no law. This was a policy which Trump just announced he's reversing.

Fake tears. No one wanted to say anything when this was going on in 2013/2014, until Dems/Media realized they can pin this on Trump prior to the midterms. No one wants to see this, but the media is attempting to depict this as the government literally tearing children out of the arms from parents. Children are unable to be prosecuted, so they're placed in detention centers to attend a future court date or face deportation while awaiting potential contact with their sponsors.

How will he smear Democrats with it? That is if it had nothing to do with them?

Spoken like a true Trumpeter. Allowing immigration has not caused us to become a third world country. You give illegal immigrants way too much credit

Flores was originally about unaccompanied minors but do see note 1 on page 5 that they have determined it applies to both accompanied and unaccompanied minors.

Now technically it only applies to minors, saying they cannot be held more than 20 days. But if you release the minor and keep the parent in detention then you are not keeping the family together.
You're misreading the Flores decision. But even if you weren't and Flores mandated that children be separated from their parents, how is it that Trump can now reverse it with an executive order?

This move was needed. It however totally debunks what the administration had been saying about the process. It was not law. Congress did not create the situation and was not the only option to stop it. Trump started the enforcement of this and always had the power to end it and come up with other alternatives. Yet again more lies and misplaced blame by Trump and company.
