No but they're all going broke and don't have 350 million citizens and have higher trust societies. They also don't innovate or develop for crap. The only reason healthcare providers/pharmaceuticals invest into R&D is to make tens/hundreds of billions. That profit motive is important to innovation, governments can never compete.

that's just the GOVERNMENT costs of Medicare and Medicaid... and medicare/Medicaid covers less than 1/4 of our population.. on top of that you have the VA..and then what the PEOPLE are already paying for private insurance....do you really think multiplying the cost of medicare by 5 to cover 325 million people is so smart do you think the taxpayers can afford an additional 5-7 trillion dollars annually....where do you think the MAGIC MONEY is going to appear from

Agree. All of the poor black people disliked by Good Conservative Hard Working White People (tm) are already covered by Medicaid. Why not simply have Medicare for all? Wouldn’t it be better than letting profiteering middle-men (insurance company) bleed the nation dry?
The insurance companies still get you. People on Medicare have to have supplementals. Those supplemental rates go up, my mom's is double what it used to be. Oh, and lets not forget about drugs.

Wouldn't that only apply to the people who wanted the US in those wars, just like the Medicare for All costs would be paid only by those who want it? Same thing.
