All countries with universal healthcare are going broke?

that's just the GOVERNMENT costs of Medicare and Medicaid... and medicare/Medicaid covers less than 1/4 of our population.. on top of that you have the VA..and then what the PEOPLE are already paying for private insurance....do you really think multiplying the cost of medicare by 5 to cover 325 million people is so smart do you think the taxpayers can afford an additional 5-7 trillion dollars annually....where do you think the MAGIC MONEY is going to appear from
So your answer is let the poor, the elderly and disabled fend for themselves because the name of this game is "I've got mine, too bad for you"? /sad

Maybe she can tell us how they will pay for it.
Just like Trump told us how he would pay for his tax cuts.

I wonder if the dems would be willing to give up their salaries or take a large cut in salaries so everyone else can have medical insurance, not likely...

No, you just want it to mean what it doesn't. Just like you think pensions and retirees' benefits would still be funded if pension/retirement plans weren't allowed to earn profits, dividends, and increases in share values on their stocks. That's patently laughable.

The insurance companies still get you. People on Medicare have to have supplementals. Those supplemental rates go up, my mom's is double what it used to be. Oh, and lets not forget about drugs.

Wouldn't that only apply to the people who wanted the US in those wars, just like the Medicare for All costs would be paid only by those who want it? Same thing.
