You have to have an incredible imagination to actually believe Wolff is talking about what you are talking about. Its not a story that a bank has deposits belonging to countless different people. Thats just stupidity. Thats why no paper is reporting what you are misunderstanding and every paper, right wing and left wing, financial newspapers and non-financial are all reporting what Wolff actually is talking about. Which is "control" as in "belong to". You can read the Wolff paper yourself to realize how badly you misunderstand something so simple.

Regarding pensions, obviously the oligarchy is not good for the stock market. Some monopolistic powers lose power, thats bad for them, and you are crying with them, but it also leads to a tremendous burden off the backs of thousands of businesses and thats good. No one has to "relinquish pensions" and other nonsense you are talking about.

The courts just took on a case of the illegal 15yo who crossed the border for a tax paid abortion.

The case was dismissed since the ACLU stepped in and provided it before it went in front of the judge. They argued she had a right to a free abortion since she was now in the US.

A medical facility is unable to determine who is here legally and who is not. This has been covered by the courts over and over and it would seem the same outcome was came to here.

A run away 15 year old is going to have no more identification than someone here illegally.

So yes, everyone who crosses the border should get free medical and abortions since we can't determine if they are here legally.
BTW, that girl was stopped at the border and was being held in detention. They knew she was here illegally.

Got it. We can't pay for our citizens healthcare, now we must pay for anyone else who get's here illegally.

I have NO idea what this case is all about as you have posted nothing other that your rant. You can not blame those who can do nothing about the problem.

Good to see you falsely playing the race card. Are you going to trot out the homophobe Joy Reid and the bigot Rev Al to back you up?
Not that you care but where's the money going to come from? Medicaids Trust money will run out come 2028. Ain't big government grand. I know that makes me racist right?

If memory serves (and correct me if I'm wrong) Medicare currently covers roughly 15% of the US population but consumes 20% of the Federal budget. Assuming this to be the case, and on the assumption that costs would scale, we'd need to find a way to literally double the Federal budget to cover Medicare-For-All plus other current expenses. 20% of the annual budget funding already consists of IOU's.

Seems like a recipe for creating a national-scale dystopia overnight.

It will not "run out" but it will lack funding as taxes and revenue are cut and inequality continues to increase. Thats the whole point of electing puppets of big money interests to Congress. These well heeled interests fund the issues they care about. And defunding and eventual elimination of Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security is very high on the agenda. The ruling elite dont need those programs. They hate them. So they will be eliminated unless people like you have the guts to take them on. Do you have the guts to do that?

We spend 18% of GDP on health care now, and you think it would be dystopia if we manage to spend 12% of GDP on health care, which is the most expensive single payer system in the world to date? All other single payer systems are around 9-11.5% of GDP.
