Well, Sweden DOES have more billionaires per capita than the US.

And there's a significant difference in net disposable household income results:
Quote:
"Household adjusted disposable income includes income from economic activity (wages and salaries; profits of self-employed business owners), property income (dividends, interests and rents), social benefits in cash (retirement pensions, unemployment benefits, family allowances, basic income support, etc.), and social transfers in kind (goods and services such as health care, education and housing, received either free of charge or at reduced prices)."
OECD Better Life Index - Income

Add to that the fact that Sweden has a 25% VAT and puts their middle class in the top income tax bracket right along with the top 0.1%.

Look, Mike, academic research isn't wrong. Multiple developed countries aren't wrong. To fund the government-provided social programs you want, the US would have to switch from a progressive to a regressive tax system (most of the tax burden borne by those with lower incomes). You're either a "Yes" or "No" on that, which determines where you really stand.

tough luck if you are not born into the liberal elite

liberals wants genetic testing to determine what occupation you are.. like Gattaca... the communist/socialist/liberal dream..two classes..the poor serfs feeding on welfare crumbs...and the rich liberal elite masters

As long as you want labor to be disorganized, weak and frightened, then organized capital will crush the working class like ants. A lone worker going up against corporate power is like a lone ranger going up against a well equipped platoon. You will get crushed every time. Thats why the working class is losing the battle against the billionaire class. Only organized unions can change that.

Not all. I've paid much more than I'll ever use in benefits. Why? No Medicare tax cap.

but the unions (which as I said WERE a good thing once upon a time) have become the monsters of a corporation...unions are a corporation( a corporation is a group of people with like ideas) they have boards and leadership... they constantly are lobbying and bribing congress..... they have become what they were designed to fight against

So you dont know the difference between "average" and "median". Its like saying the US has a higher GDP per capita than Germany or Sweden. It means nothing. When you dont understand what "average" means why should we take you seriously? The GDP per capita of the US has almost doubled in 40 years. Yet, median hourly incomes of the working class has declined. People work longer hours for lower pay. The average has skyrocketed on the other hand. Wall Street love it.

One house of Congress and the POTUS in the opposite party doesn't enable you to do a damn thing. Not sure what she's thinking.

You have to have paid tens of million of dollars in Medicare taxes to be so sure of that.
