Congress needs to pass a bill requiring all candidates for President to release the past five years of tax returns, and to divest themselves of their business interests and/or put them in blind trust, managed by non-family members.
Reminder: Trump said he was being audited, but the IRS released a statement that he was NOT being audited, but even if he were, that would not prevent him from releasing them. So Trump was lying.

The uninformed do NOT know that the financial report they have to fill out contains a lot MORE financial info then any tax return.
If you are going to require tax returns then ALSO REQUIRE ALL school records, from grade school through college including how they got into the school, who they associated with, etc.
If you are going to vet, the vet fully.
They will tell a better picture of the person then tax returns.

If Mueller has any info on the President's taxes, he obtained it illegally, like "Madcow" did. One's tax returns are not public information. But then, nobody said Mueller was honest. He has a habit of withholding exculpatory evidence in cases he prosecutes.
Mueller's conflicts of interest in this phony "investigation" are testament to his lack of integrity ...best friends with Comey AND Rob Rosenstein, who appointed him, and his entire team comprises known anti-Trump "swamp rats." Bruce Ohr's wife worked for Fusion GPS, and was in contact with Christopher Steele and funneling info to the FBI, secretly. There has never been a more corrupt "investigation" and cabal, ever.

Not quite. But there is no requirement that a candidate make his tax returns public. Yes, I know there is no requirement for a birth certificate to be made available either, but in Obama's case, since he was raised primarily in Indonesia, and so little was known about who he was ...he seemingly came out of nowhere ...legitimate questions were raised, which are important because of questions of his allegiance. Then, when he couldn't produce a valid birth certificate ...well, we all know the rest.
So what is Mueller going to do with trump's tax returns that the IRS couldn't?
We know what the dems will do, take complex returns and create suspicion to extend the cloud over Trump. No improper finances required, just rumors and spurious comments. Worked for harry reid! Reid is the model for what dems will do with trump's tax returns, create suspicion where there is not problem just to win an election. The unethical treatment of trump by the dems should cause their voters to leave that sinking ship of hate and fear mongering. The dems are doing what Putin could not. Dividing the country!

Why didn't the Messiah and his minions in the IRS, DoJ, FBI, etc, catch any of it?
obama DID show his birth certificate in june 2008 and facts confirmed by the HI department of health in october 2008.
for this to be on par with birtherism would require trump to release his taxes, have them confirmed by the IRS and people still demanding he release his taxes.
