As a gay man married to another man, I can comment on half of this. I think abortion is a travesty and I would love to see it cease altogether. But, that isn't going to happen, so I have to hope we can at least hope that we can shame people from not having an abortion and not encourage the practice as Democrats do.
Will you and your husband pay to support all those unplanned babies, feed and clothe them and send them to college? Will you happily pay the tax increases for things like reduced fee lunches, building additional schools and hiring more teachers? Do you have the same sympathy for these babies as you do the children of asylum seekers who were kidnapped from their parents (500 of them) and the parents deported so they are essentially kidnapped?
The same Republicans that want to force the birth of these babies also want their taxes dramatically reduced and are angered by social costs.
I'm interested where Ohio is going to get the money to support the medical costs of all the Downs Syndrome babies Kasich is forcing to be born since he's made it illegal to abort a baby that has Downs but a baby without Downs can still be aborted. The medical costs of such a scenario are huge, everything from heart, eyes, hearing, etc. and the child cannot be placed in regular care, it requires specialized care. Multiply that by all the Downs babies in the country and total that cost.

Democrats don’t encourage abortion. They support a women’s choice to choose whereas republicans want them to have no choice. And don’t you dare try and shame people for their rights. It’s like people shaming you for being gay. You wouldn’t like that and I don’t blame you. No one should be shamed.

Thank you for your thoughts and I'm sorry I didn't include my entire thoughts here, but I believe we should include education on sex ed and also that Plan B should be over the counter. Also, despite my moral objection, I believe we should keep the current law, whereby abortion under the first 12 weeks will remain legal.
I am opposed to the celebration of abortion however, as the current Democrat party supports.
Completely true according to the Center for Reproductive Rights. Only 11 states have laws banning abortion on the books currently and only 4 have trigger laws.
18 million aborted fetuses can't become democratic voters !
From antiquity, marriage was a joining of property rights for the benefit of progeny - the genetic union that cannot be put asunder (See: curtesy and dower). Sterile marriages between same sex couples is legally useless - unless the real reason is to get access to spousal benefits under socialism. But once socialism is abolished (or collapses), there's no real benefit for a same sex marriage.
Oddly enough, feticide is still a crime, as is sodomy. But as long as we are under the "State of emergency" such things aren't considered worth enforcing.
I think they overturned sodomy laws in the ‘90s. And there are a lot more benefits attached to marriage than social security. There are inheritance and divorce laws. And plenty of gay people have children, so there is still progeny.

Democrats do not celebrate abortion, that is ridiculous. Democrats are forced into the role of promoting the right because Republicans are trying to make it illegal and Democrats can do math. These same Republicans resent social costs. They hate paying for the very costs all the unplanned babies would create. These same Republicans apparently can't add.
We have hundreds of thousand of children in foster care. Why aren't they being adopted? And instead, we have Republicans demanding that more babies be born only to be raised in terrible poverty. They don't want to pay for health care so where will these mothers go for prenatal care? They don't want to pay for Medicaid so who pays for the childbirths? And after the babies are born, these poverty stricken mothers, some likely on drugs, will raise these children under the worst conditions.
It's a great thought that every couple that conceives a child is going to have the dream scenario. But what is Mississippi going to do when a state that is already extremely poor with the lowest school scores in the nation, is filling up with unplanned babies born to very poor mothers? Is Mississippi going to to demand these costs to be paid in federal dollars?

It’s really not. Being gay is not at all the same as aborting a fetus. One you probably can’t help, and the other is a choice.

I'm not going to spend the time comparing the list, I outlined which states have what. Only nine have laws protecting abortion regardless of Roe V. Wade and I listed them. Thankfully I live in one of those states, so we won't need to start planning for the exorbitant costs that many of these other states would face when reality hits them.

Democrats love abortion. Hillary supports abortion right up until the moment of birth.

Alright, I thought this was a serious discussion. None of the detailed questions I asked were answered, just hyperbole tossed back. I won't bother anymore.
