chances are the girl spoke a language the father understood and could communicate to him she needed water--well before BP was involved. got any evidence he provided it like a responsible parent would? Her condition indicates not.

The border patrol doesn't owe traveling migrants water or even a medical exam. There only job is to patrol the area and prevent any illegals from crossing into the US freely. And if they find migrants, they take them into custody or if they are at the border, they would try to turn them around and make them go back south.

You are confusing the border patrol with the Red Cross or EMTs.

Same situation with the birth of Jesus. Jesus was an anchor baby and should of been separated from his parents right after birth. If he had died in a cage (where he belonged), then that would be the fault of his mother Mary who should of never traveled to another country. She put him in danger so the death is justified. Yes? Amirite???

Can't believe this topic is still going on. This was posted yesterday.

I don't care if you believe it or not. That only speaks to the number the MSM has done to you.

------------------------------

One more time.
Officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection told reporters on a national conference call that the young girl was part of a large group of 163 migrants who illegally crossed the border at the Antelope Wells Port of Entry at about 10 p.m. on December 6. The port of entry was closed at the time of the crossing and the migrants entered the U.S. illegally, officials stated. In addition to large numbers of Family Unit Aliens (FMUA), the group contained at least 50 Unaccompanied Alien Children, according to the source who spoke on background
Due to the remote location, only four Border Patrol agents were available at the time for processing this group of migrants, the official stated. During the initial screening, the agents asked the migrants a series of 20 questions concerning their health and other demographic information. Officials said the agents asked the father the questions in Spanish and translated his answers to English for documentation on the form. The father reportedly checked the box on the I-779 immigration form that said his daughter had no current illnesses.

I'm guessing the biased MSM which first posted that 1/2 lie about the girl, haven't come back and acknowledged it.

Not quite sure what all the focus on the father is about - outside, that is his decision to bring his daughter with him. And on the form. It is CNN that is trying to make it look (unfairly, my take) that the girl became noticeably ill at Antelope Wells before boarding the bus with the agents then not seeking medical attention for her.

If you call foul there, then it is certainly likely that she really did start vomiting once on the bus - AFTER the father signed off on the bloody form. Her hydration status was already compromised - even if she had been drinking at Antelope Wells, which certainly appears likely. Vomiting brought about extreme dehydration and shock. Further medical tests will be more specific.

The agents checked off that to their eyes she did not appear compromised. Sure that was not a comprehensive exam nor is the father a doctor and what child would be chipper after the last several days. Kids are simply more fragile than adults, plain and simple.

Forget the form. That's only a piece of paper. The issue is that a child is dead. Sure, her father dragged her into the desert but no reasonable person would blame that on the child.

The only real question here is how likely it is that this situation could reoccur and whether we as a nation want to take steps to prevent that since larger numbers of children are arriving to stations with minimal facilities like Antelope Wells. Or whether will we tolerate a certain number of similar deaths.

Focusing on the father is a way of sidestepping that question.

We have no idea if he was persecuted or endangered in his own country.

It has been reported that he is from an indigenous group. Whether he is part the indigenous population in Guatemala that is being forceable displaced by military violence has yet to be determined.

WOW, you posted an actual truth. They crossed the border illegally....
