They just had her on the 5-o`clock local news, before Abbott spoke about it. Whining for pity, and she was not shy about where she comes from and her deep deep hatred for Israel.
In fact, there are many things I admire about the nation and its ability to survive despite being threatened on all sides.
However, this whole thing rubs me wrong. And a couple of important things to remember. Not supporting Israel isn't necessarily being anti-semitic. And Muslims hardly have a monopoly on not supporting Israel.
I would feel the same if there was some stupid rule that in order to sign a job contract, you have to support radical Islamist groups that kill and maim many people around the world.
How did Israel manage to exert so much influence in American governments? Does this country owe them something?

I started seeing this "oath" from vendors contracting services from my former employer. Government agencies, mainly. They expected the vendors (us) to sign a waiver saying we didn't boycott Israel and another saying something about not doing business with Iran. The individual that reads contracts at my former job sent to me to confirm she was seeing what she thought she was seeing.
