“Ice, snow, and frost will disappear, i.e. milder winters” … “Unusually warm winters without snow and ice are now being viewed by many as signs of climate change.”

Schleswig Holstein NABU, 10 Feb 2007

Notice the word "now" in the climate prediction. We are 12 years past his now and still plenty of winter snow.

People entrenched in climate hysteria are absolutely unable to overlay these failed predictions onto their belief system. It's kinda funny. They don't want to shatter their id, their sense of moral progression, or their worldview.

Once again, your own excerpt says those predictions ("will", "will be", not "are" or "are already") indicate a future prediction, from 2012 to 2050 to be precise. It seems you weren't aware it isn't 2050 yet!

The word "will" indicates the future. You don't say "I will" do something if you have already done it, or if you're doing it right now. I means you intend to do it in the future. Why is an English lesson required here?

Democrats mocked and vetoed by mother nature: 2 weeks after "Green New Deal" it snows in Los Angeles and Las Vegas

This is a perfect example of how clueless some people are. It could be abnormally hot in the rest of the world and because there is a little snow in southern California some people want to believe there is no global warming.

That's because scientists are living and dying by the faulty, inaccurate climate models they build. They use these models to make their predictions, and government then uses them to push their agenda to control industry. Then when the models fail, they just input more data into a new one, and this one is used to promote their agenda.

When a scientist predicts catastrophic man-made global warming, and then ridicules any of their peers who are skeptical, they have a vested interest in keeping their dire predictions alive. And why wouldn't they, their professional reputations and careers are on the line. The same goes for these politicians who risk their careers and reputations. So, it's no wonder they can never admit they were wrong. It's why government is funding non-stop research which is only designed to prove man-made climate change, all their careers and reputations are on the line.

You people promoted hurricane Sandy all over the place as proof of man-made climate change. Hypocrites.

I think it's you that needs the English lesson because the way the quote is written, the 2021-2050 time period is associated with the statement it is in: "In the Alps winters will be 2°C warmer already between 2021 and 2050.” It doesn't apply to the rest of the paragraph.

The current date IS in the future from 2008 and the things they predicted haven't come to pass and there is no current trend indicating they will.

They were wrong. Deal with it.

That's actually the prevailing view among conservatives regarding climate change and therefore is the dominant belief in America today. Sarah Huckabee Sanders herself said 'God will take care of it.'

You see, you just said "we still have plenty of snow," when in fact you didn't even bother checking any facts.

To wit: THANKS TO CLIMATE CHANGE, THE ALPS ARE LOSING SNOW

JAN 17, 2017 - On average, the snow season in famed ski regions like Davos, Zermatt, and Grindelwald starts 12 days later and ends 25 days earlier than it did in 1970, the scientists found after analyzing readings from a set of 11 weather stations spread across Switzerland at elevations ranging from 1,100 to 2,500 meters (3,600 to 8,200 feet). The study also concluded that the maximum annual snow depth at the 11 sites has declined by 25 percent since 1970, and that the date of the annual maximum snow depth is now nearly a full month — 28 days — earlier than in it was 45 years ago.

This may possibly be the dumbest thread title I have ever seen on this forum. And THAT is saying something.
