You know, you don't need to confiscate land if you create a law that says the government owns and controls any significant water source on your land. You already lost it.

What are the chances that Hispanics will not vote they way leftists think they will? Once leftists start attacking their religious beliefs and their family unit, how long before leftists start disparaging Hispanics writ large? I'll wait and see. Once people understand that the left demands ideological purity, the tide will turn and a lot of eyes will be opened.
As long as the Democrats keep the carrot stick of amnesty for their illegal amigos and socialism on the table most Hispanics will keep voting for them.
It's already happening in the UK, where students have to go on mandatory trips to the local mosques . They also have lgbtq sex Ed to learn at school which is mandatory. The UK Muslims were pulling their kids out of schools because of that. All others will probably be reported to child protective services to take their kids away. Britain is just more progressive than us but this will make it's way to the US eventually if it hasn't already. I think Cali already mandates learning about gay anal fisting in sex Ed classes for middle School students.
I can verify this as I volunteered my services as a fister AND fistee. Even offered to pay them to hire me. Such talents come easy when youre a democrat.

Mexico isn't obligated to "fight" in a way you consider fair, any more than the US is obligated to "fight" in ways Mexico sees as fair.

The Texas territory was rightfully taken by the winners of the Battle of San Jacinto on April 21, 1836. The battle followed massacres at Goliad and the Alamo where the Mexican army killed all of the opposing forces. They took no prisoners.
"Being the nice guys", the Texian winners of the Battle of San Jacintos let the defeated members of Santa Anna's Mexican army retreat to Mexico instead of killing them all.
Back to the point of this thread...Now, though, the celebration of the Battle of San Jacinto has been replaced by the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Funny how demographics change things.
Exactly - as the other poster said, we stole it from Mexico.
The details are really not important. It was a land that belongs to the Spanish and then, in combination, Mexicans (mostly) and some Pioneers who settled there.
Violence prone settlers from the CONUS and territories headed down there to claim their "rights" to land using guns and violence and "their laws".....
Of course, this is largely the story of much of history...so I am not knocking it. BUT, the difference in terms of Texas is that it was done in relatively modern times - that is, long after the founding of the country.
Without better and more guns it would still be theirs......is the point.
Now, whether one believes that - even now - resources belong to whoever has the most firepower...is something we can debate.

Well, illegals don't vote.....while they are illegal.
They only vote after guys like Reagan give them blanket amnesty and citizenship.
If illegals voted, Texas and Florida would both be blue. As it stands, Texas is probably the reddest large state.....Florida only slightly red in voting patterns.
Florida would probably be blue if property owners (snowbirds like myself) voted....but millions maintain their domicile up north for better medical care, family ties and stuff like that.
at this point if you are a white person voting democrat, you are voting for suicide. Mexicans in Texas will vote for Mexican politicians the same way Somalians in Minnesota vote exclusively for muslim politicians. Laws like affirmitive action will grow and the new norm will be equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity. Every racial group is tribal and proud to be so, everyone except for whites. Its sad that the race who accomplished the most, is so eager to give it all away.
