There's quite a number of people who are just angry and frustrated in general. They feel like victims, they got stuck in jobs that went away because of innovation, technology and the access to global resources. They resonate with the "MAGA" slogan because they believed or at least hoped Individual1 was going to roll back time to somewhere in the 1940s and 50s ... back to the post war and mass production era, where the little woman stayed home and the men went to work, where global markets were limited and contained.
This is a cultural war waged within the U.S., which Individual1 ignites often and his supporters embrace. They want the time when it was okay to treat other races as less than, they prefer women have fewer rights, and an authoritarian person in charge suits them, emotionally. Most have no idea how much they've been played but it's all right there.
The 1950s way of doing things, I would not doubt for a moment some people want that. This is something many will fight against. The thing about "MAGA" is that it's very vague. However, one can imagine what some people might be thinking.
As things change, this has left some people out. And many people don't realize that many things are going to keep changing. Technology and innovation is really going to make an impact. Some places will never see those same jobs again. One has a choice. Make the adjustment or fall further behind.
And I don't doubt there are people who would like to see the days of "racial minorities must know their place" come back. I've dealt with people like that up close and personal.
The only reason Biden is leading in the polls is because the far left candidates have split their support between 4 or 5 of them, Warren, sanders, Harris and buttigege. When that field narrows ole sleepy Joe is done for. I bet Elizabeth Warren will be your nominee (aka. Pocahontas). Socialist va Trump??? We all know what will happen l.
I'm struggling to recall how the US not meeting with Denmark is a big deal one way or another.
I'll rank that right up there with him skipping a chance to meet the Governor of Wisconsin and judging the dairy cow competition at the state fair.
Apologies if I insulted any of the 5-6 million inhabitants of Denmark, maybe they should consider joining the US and becoming our 22nd largest state?
Queen Margrethe of Denmark, in July, formally invited Trump and his wife Melania Trump to visit her country. Trump accepted this invitation and a visit was planned for early September.
In August, Trump announced that he wanted to buy Greenland. Well after royal preparations were underway, he changed his mind on August 20 and refused the invitation. Trump's cancellation is an offence to Queen Margrethe, and he should not expect another invitation.
Of course this seems like a "nothing" to the states, but that is not exactly how the rest of the world views it. Math guys usually see all the variables, not just 2. Why such a narrow view here?

Trump wanted to buy Greenland for himself, didn't he? My sense is that this wasn't about the states buying a country, it was about Trump and his real estate deals.
The Queen of Denmark invited the USA President for a diplomatic visit, and somehow Trump thought it was a private invitation to discuss his personal business opportunities. Very strange.
I don't know what else to make of it, other than it was for his own aspirations.
