The older streets are different because they are narrow and in some no cars at all. People riding bikes are careful and people walking are. They get along quite well. While riding with friends all over the country not one driver was over the s[peed limits. I was told some do drive over it, but I never saw even 1.

Eating out is expensive and most don't, rather they eat at home. Meals are very high priced. I was just at the market and a package of 6 cokes were priced the same as 1ea. 8oz bottle of coke in Copenhagen. More costly in some places. They do drink a lot of beer at home and in cafes. Just there.

Yeah, I've been there a number of times, and I love visiting....but I don't think I could live there. My friend takes a lot of time off to travel (worldwide) for pleasure, and when he's working he spends about one-third of his work time in Copenhagen and the other two-thirds in other Scandinavian countries and in the UK.

One time, so many people came from all over for an event, that he had all of the people of our parents generation stay in his very nice, central place. He made other arrangements for the rest of us. His brother (his brother is also a friend of mine) and I stayed with a female friend of his who lived in a building in a different part of Copenhagen that was built in the 1930s. She had a fairly large apartment that had a bathroom, but the bathroom didn't have a shower or a tub. The same was true for all of the other apartments in the building. The showers were set up like large locker rooms are in the U.S., and they were located in the basement.

I kind of gathered the bolded, but I didn't want to include that in a post (unless you did first) because I didn't want to chance that you might be offended by my bringing that up . I don't think it's a time frame thing, but rather an income thing and a 'rural vs. urban' thing.

I signed up for Hulu the other day.

The second and third things I watched were two episodes of House Hunters International.

The first one was in Melbourne, Australia . It bolstered my desire to visit.

The second one was in Sweden. The couple was moving there from DC for graduate school. They continually mispronounced the name of the city and the name of the province . If just visiting as tourists....not ideal, but more understandable. But as students ....and they didn't seem to care. The lady who does the voice overs (same lady for the HHI episodes I've watched) pronounced the name of the town correctly, but screwed up the pronunciation of the province.

When they did the after move in follow up, they showed them riding their bikes , which I have done on those same streets. Enjoyable in Sweden, and enjoyable in Denmark.

Orange County, Republican, Biden.

Crazy uncle Joe is the only one that isn't going full socialist. My father, a life long democrat told me that if someone called you a socialist in the old days, you'd punch them in the nose.

There is indeed a huge divide between a democracy that incorporates some elements of provisions for all peoples to add to the stability of the nation and it's members as opposed to a typical "Socialist" state which gives all power to the ruling government and controls virtually all of it's peoples livelihood along with the sources of their income. The term "Socialist" is to me indeed a huge repugnant word as the first things that come to my mind is Russia and Venezuela and more that incorporate their way of life. May American NEVER get anywhere near that level. If one were to truly do their homework the kind of reworking that a guy like Sanders is proposing is indeed not nor never likely to be truly affordable unless money is just printed having no real value. Sadly same deal with removal of all school debt. It was a decision just like buying a car. And if you don't pay for it it's going to get repoed.

Please respond to the following questions:

1. What CA county are you registered to vote in?

2. What Political Party do you belong to?

3. Please rank the following Democratic Candidates in order of prefence, 1 being your favorite, 4 being your least favorite: Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren

4. What are the 3 most important issues to you?

Contra Costa

Democrat (was Independent until Trump lol)

Anybody but Kamala

1) Keeping Kamala off the democratic ticket as she has a ton of baggage and being a Bay Area liberal is a major liability. She will NOT win swing states and is not electable (lol).
2) Making sure Kamala doesn't get the nomination because Trump and republicans will have a field day with "SF values", sanctuary city/Ramos family murders, etc..
3) Not wasting the upcoming presidential election on a do-nothing grandstander like Kamala who as far as I can tell has never accomplished anything impressive or worthwhile.

Sanders, at this time, is not my preference.

That said, your comments about his “agenda” and the costs associated with it and how it would be financed - demonstrate your fear and hatred is not knowledge-based. It’s knee-jerk reaction to symbolism that has been attached to the term “socialism”.

Such a poor way to avoid understanding the realities of managing exploding societies.

Seriously, how much effect on your day to day life has Trump, Obama, Bush, etc, had? Except for the obvious angst.
It bothers me when there are nuts out there that seem to believe that Trump supports their agendas to try eradicating those that they oppose & despise, whether because of race, ethnicity, religion, etc. It's getting to the point where to shop for groceries in America may cost you your life. That's not good.
