A better way to prevent the killing is to remove the guns. A much better way.
If only we could find a few examples of economically-advanced countries that have successfully curbed gun violence and deaths by implementing effective restrictions on gun ownership.

We want to disarm Iran and NK from having nuclear weapons. Why would we do that if it is not the nuclear weapon that kills but the leader of that country discharging the nuclear bomb?
