Been vaping for over 10 years now, my doctor says I'm fine. As an added bonus I can climb a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing, and very rarely get colds anymore.

I just coughed thinking about it. I am not ready to endure more cancer stick remnants. It's already bad enough.

Big Brother - now pain patients are forced off their meds and smokers can't smoke.

I'm all for science and when they prove what is causing these problems they should fix it. But banning stuff that is legal- from the federal level...seem crazy. What are they going to do - send people to prison for mixing some mint in with their nicotine juice?

Smoking anything should be illegal.

Nothing wrong with vaping but there IS a problem somewhere - probably with chemicals or process used in certain manufacturers, etc......

I would never vape vast quantities of tobacco like some do...tho. If nicotine was a good high I'd take a pill or patch.

Big tobacco will send him a thank you letter.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the US Food and Drug Administration would be putting out "some very strong recommendations" regarding the use of flavored e-cigarettes in "a couple of weeks."

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, seated in the Oval Office with the President, first lady Melania Trump and the acting commissioner of the FDA, announced that newly proposed enforcement policy would require flavored e-cigarette companies to take their products off the market.
The vaping poisonings are tragic for sure but
one would think the first couple would be as concerned with gun violence that
claims more victims than vaping ever will.
Our first lady is freaking out about her only child growing up and
having to make choices about vaping.

Weren't e-cigarettes developed in an effort to help people get off the habit of real cigarettes?

And now they are saying we have to ban e-cigarettes? When they never banned the original real cigarettes?

Thousand of gun deaths, but extremely strong lobbying effort by gun industry = Trump won’t touch with ten foot pole.

Six deaths by vaping but a minuscule lobbying effort by the vaping industry = Trump is all over it.

What a brave leader Trump is.

Only the flavored ones apparently.
what the heck do the unflavored ones taste like?

maybe they could make ones that taste like broccoli to deter the kiddos.

This is yet another case where we have to give the Trump admin grudging credit. First they banned the AA ('auto assault')-12 shotgun, and now moving to ban the flavored e-cigs, which are clearly intended to hook children.

Will wonders never cease?!?!
