So you're saying that you stayed in NY so your daughter could continue to get in-state tuition. IOW, you picked your state residency based on where it made the most financial sense. Nothing wrong with that.

When I bought a home and was deciding between two states, I also looked into tax issues. My choices were between a swing state with reasonable taxes or one of the most tax-crazy liberal states in the country with a tax-mad governor and county council. Everything else being equal, I moved to the swing state.

That's what he's always done, it's his mo & a part of his business plan. For example, please see the Trump "University" lawsuits. The only reason he settled with thousands of individual Americans who had lawsuits was because he became POTUS. Otherwise he would've kept stringing them along until they could no longer afford to pay the costs of litigation.
Can you give me proof of this? And if he's done all of this, why hasn't the FBI and CIA arrest him?

Hundreds of thousands leave the corrupt, filthy city every year. Most head to warmer climes like Florida where tax laws are not as repressive and you dont need a permit and a union electrician to hang a ceiling fan!

New York is a high tax, socialist nanny state whose Governor told everyone if you are not Far Left Progressive (idiot communists) you are NOT WELCOME there.

Not exactly. Husband had been out of work for over year and got a job in Florida. Had to go where the work was. I really did not want to live there, again, but knew someday we would move back up North.

Proof of what? Mr. Trump has been involved in 3,500+ lawsuits, most were civil cases not criminal ones.

The one example cited were the Trump "University" lawsuits:

Quote:
The order from U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel — the same Indiana-born judge Trump called biased because of his "Mexican heritage" — comes a year after he first approved the settlement. It marks the end of two class-action lawsuits and a civil lawsuit from New York accusing Trump of "swindling thousands of Americans out of millions of dollars through Trump University," in the words of New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Quote:
"This settlement marked a stunning reversal by President Trump, who for years refused to compensate the victims of his sham university," Schneiderman said in a statement.
Indeed, Trump claimed as a candidate that he "never" settled lawsuits, and would not do so in the case of Trump University. "That's why I won't settle," Trump told MSNBC in 2016. "Because it's an easy case to win in court ... How do you settle a case like that?"

Just curious here, why do you think he settled that one?

Maybe because he is being so besieged by leftist attacks, forcing his attention away from running the country, that he figured paying a $25 million settlement, meaningless once you're at his wealth level, was worth it.

You are totally blind to trump and his ways
but hopefully one day you will take your blinders off.

If trump is so wealthy, why did he set up a sham university to financially prey on well meaning young adults hoping to better themselves?
