Florida is a state of crazy stuff, so it seems fitting.

He is probably thinking, if he gets out of New York, then the Southern District of New York won't go after him once he is out of office. He probably couldn't go out in public in nyc without being jeered.

To reside or claim residency, you need to live there enough months a year, so your attempt at bashing Trump's financial decision making isn't a good one.

He probably can live there enough to legally claim residency there. Much better state to retire in than backwards NY.

Hate Trump all you want, but I don't understand why NYC/NYS leaders celebrate a billionaire leaving their state.

This point may have been made. My apologies if it has. With Trump moving out of New York to state well south, any headline with the latest Trump idiocy can legally and responsibly begin with "Florida Man...."

So true, Joe! If I had a nickel for every time I read a headline that began "Florida Man", I'd have more money than Bill Gates. It's a "syndrome" I tell ya'!

Ahh , was thinking the same thing but not a divorce , Melania
loves Trump , or his wealth, so do not think she is leaving but I was
thinking more in respect to what kinda jail he potentially will be sent to.

Not sure why. But his leaving doesn’t change anything financially for NY. Again, they create freshly minted new millionaires like rabbits reproduce their species. Not to mention several NY multimillionaires become billionaires every year. Trump can’t move his NY properties, and that’s all that matters.

His leaving isn’t a big deal for NY or FL.

The Gov. explained it well. He pays no income taxes in NY. So no loss to them. While Trump's tax cuts have damaged people in NYC/NYS. Forcing them to pay more in Federal taxes.

Trump the crook, con man strikes again.
