This bears repeating:

The Man who can actually bring Criminal Charges continues to Investigate and does not agree with the Horowitz Report.

Quote:
“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department.

Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

Horowitz did not find that the 'FBI was not motivated by political bias in the Trump probe'.

Instead, Horowitz indicated that he found "no documentary evidence" to support that assertion, in his opinion. That does not mean that the FBI was not motivated by bias, just that Horowitz could not prove that they were.

AG Barr and US Attorney Durham apparently disagree.

Default FBI director says he's ordering over '40 corrective steps' following IG report

FBI Director Christopher Ray is recommending more than '40 corrective steps' in response to IG Horwitz investigative report into the FBI's handling of the Trump investigation.
FBI director says he's ordering '40 corrective steps' following IG report

The director highlighted a few key changes, including to how the bureau uses the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to apply for surveillance applications. Horowitz found the FBI failed to meet "the basic obligation" that its FISA application for former Trump campaign aide Carter Page was "scrupulously accurate."

The bureau is also making "significant changes" to its Confidential Human Source (CHS) Program to improve how it collects, documents and shares information about those sources. Other notable changes Wray detailed in response to the report include requiring approval from top FBI officials to conduct sensitive investigations out of bureau headquarters

In other words, Trump world will keep looking for evidence for their version of reality because this IG report didn't scratch that itch.

Interesting. The report says that Steele and a Trump family member (strongly rumored to be Ivanka) had a thing going on. They kept in touch for years by email and met up on occasion as well. Steele tells how he was favorably disposed toward the Trump family because of his relationship with this Trump. Wonders never cease.

It is like asking the wolves , did you eat the chickens? Asking the FBI if they were motivated by bias.. oh no!! We were unbiased.. yeah, right!
Please, the FISA warrant wasn't changed it was one email that was modified. This report should put to rest the FISA warrant nonsense, now we can move on.

Every one I know has a bias to some degree but the IG saw no subsequent action that indicated they acted unfairly.

Has anyone seen the part of the report regarding Steele's statement? This is very interesting--has this ever been reported? Nobody ever mentioned this? That Ivanka really gets around.

"....Steele told the Justice Department’s internal watchdog that he had been “favorably disposed” toward the Trump family — and not biased against Trump — because of his relationship with that family member...."

"....Steele told investigators he met with “a Trump family member at Trump Tower and ‘been friendly’ with [the family member] for some years,” even gifting the person “a family tartan," and that the idea he was biased against the family from the start was “ridiculous,’” according to the report. The report does not include the name of the individual...."
