*looks at tents in the sidewalk..
Nope, no poverty here...
Yea it must suck to have your life be one perpetual drug fueled party, where law enforcement can’t touch you and you are free to steal and disrupt the lives of innocent people whenever you feel like it.
Well I’m actually appalled on this post with so many reporting what they see. Hunger homelessness and poor people. This is trumpworld, how can this be happening? Somebody’s eyes are lying right ?

I know. Sadly Trump doesn't care about hunger, homelessness and poor people. And he still manages to try and take what little bit of safety net they have away from them so the poor rich billionaires can have a few more pennies in their pockets. MAGA!
Come to Mississippi. Within two miles of the state capitol you will see third world conditions and homes with sheets for windows. Red as red can be here.
Where there are no liberals there is no poverty since it’s liberals who like to hand out free money creating deadbeats.
Really? My brother lives in a small town in Arkansas and spends 4 days a week handing out food at various food banks run by the churches and other charitable groups there. This is nominally a tourist town but the poverty level is very high. In fact, my brother is technically one of the poor himself. He only has his SS and his earnings from working 2 days a week at the local Piggly Wiggly to live on at age 77. And this is sure not a liberal area!
The homeless situation on the west coast is more the result of lax laws, warm weather, and plentiful drugs.
Those people are poor, no doubt, but the real numbers are in the countries rural areas, decaying rust belt cities and towns, and inner cities. Those are the people being left behind in this economy. I don't see much of it where I live on Long Island, but I've seen a lot of it in Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, etc. Trailers, houses falling down, depressed towns, etc.
You forgot to mention housing prices increasing in response to demand - faster than wages.
But I agree, plenty of poor people outside of desirable cities if you bother to look.
I was just wondering the other day how many used travel trailers and 5th-wheelers are purchased as cheap houses vs. how many are purchased for recreational travel.
I must live in a different world from the Democrat candidates because I do not see any poverty and doomsday scenarios that the Democrat candidates describe. If they're fighting against this current economy, I'd say that is a losing scenario.
i would say that you need to visit democrat run cities, like los angeles, to see the results of democrat policies regarding poverty.
