Yikes, a vetted doctor on Twitter just said that Corona is about twice as contagious as the common flu. So shutting life down for a few weeks (at least) may be the best way to get through this.

It's just so funny how irresponsible some people are, continuing to go out when they don't have to. Sure, maybe you're a healthy 35 year-old, and your kids are small and corona doesn't hit children too hard at all.

But what about when you guys get home and grandma and grampa come over to visit? Think, people

It would have nothing to do with Cuomo taking a jab at him before.

I don't think asking the Federal Government to "do more" to coordinate the nationwide effort to fight covid-19 was a jab at Trump. Cuomo did not mention Trump's name and he actually praised some of what the Federal Government did earlier in his statement. Trump is just unable to take constructive criticism as anything but an insult.

When was the last time you left your house?

Let me think: I think maybe Jan 25 is the last time, because I was sick.

Not sure if you read my other post or not, I was sick for a month (no fever, just cough), so I stayed home from Jan 25th to now. lol

I don't think I got covid-19, but who knows? The last thing i wanted is to give whatever the heck I had to other people. I want to be a healer, not a spreader. =)

Why "yikes" ? It's been known for a while that covid-19 is more contagious..3-4 times more contagious than the seasonal flu.

It's always been clear to me that the officials don't advocate for face masks because we really just don't have enough, not because they are totally useless. In fact, if everyone wore a face mask like they do in Asia, even if it decreases the chances of infection by 60%, that's better than nothing. Also, it will remove the stigma from people who do wear face masks.

I wish the president would practice socially media distancing

According to the medical experts, a face mask does decrease the likelihood of spread, but is not a panacea. Its better than nothing but far from 100% effective.

Some people are just catching up. Be glad they finally understand. That is a good thing.
