Actually neither the governors nor the president has the power to suspend civil rights or make laws and decrees without legislation, to the best of my knowledge. This event shows we are closer to a dictatorship and sadly we have lots of people who would love to be a dictator.

Trump owns this disaster.
I like that you are delusional enough to think that anyone will buy that propaganda.

Normal people don't blame politicians for diseases.... also the death toll is substantially lower than expected.

Sorry kiddo, your attempt to cynically exploit a crisis for political gain is doomed to fail.

Normal people do blame politicians for inconsistent, poorly thought out responses, attempts to shirk responsibility yet claim success undeservedly, and a stunning lack of intelligence, balanced only by an even more stunning amount of undeserved arrogance.

He asked for this job. It is not too much to expect him to do it with at least some level of competence.

Sorry, kiddo. So far he has not demonstrated he is up to this particular crisis. Deep down in that secret space where you don’t lie to yourself, you know it, too.

Offering? That shipped sailed along time ago; I'm waiting for the day the people wake up and realize they have to take the u.s. government to court and sue for their rights back ... hint, if people are waiting for the tanks to roll down their streets before they do it, then that's too long.

Is that where reality has been hiding?

This is what happens when people vote for a guy because of his entertainment value. When they support a candidate because he desires to blow everything up. When a major political party nominates an inept and totally unqualified person who, at best, is only a salesman masquerading as a businessman.

This is what happens when folks think the federal government is so unimportant they can hand it safely over to a know nothing, reality TV star.

Hardly.

There is nothing in it for any Governor to protract. They, not Trump, are on the front line.

Trump Admin issued guidelines and purposely left it to the states to decide the rest. Most states issued Stay at Home orders in the period of March- April, for varying time periods and did so, in spite of calls for a national order.

Now Trump wants to step in a be the guy who opens the country with a Big Bang. What’s going on in rural Wyoming has nothing to do with say, what’s going on at Smithfield Foods in South Dakota where thus far, nearly 500 employees who were not required to observe distancing guidelines have tested positive and the plant has been closed for an indefinite period. This of course has nothing to do with what’s going on in densely populated cities.

Trump says he has ALL of the authority and NONE of the responsibility.

LOL.

Like a 3 year old thinks.
