Or you're going to do what, Cheetolino? Send US Marshals door-to-door to force people back to work?
People looked for leadership in Washington in this crisis, found less than nothing in the White House - you think you can huff and puff your way in now?
On today’s installment of the daily televised Trump 2020 Rally, Trump said he is targeting 5/1 and each state will make their own decision to reopen, some sooner than others. In other words, Trump backed off.
The Federal Government is walking away from testing and leaving it to the states to compete, bid up price and ultimately pay more than otherwise would happen if the Federal Government took the lead in the midst of a national health emergency.
Any objective postmortem will likely conclude the Federal Government is in the best position to use its muscle to negotiate on behalf of the entire country, in the midst of a global pandemic.
He can talk like a third world dictator all he wants, but luckily the Constitution ensures it stays mere talk.
The National Archives Reported: Someone Tried to Scrawl “Total Authority” with Sharpie on U.S. Constitution.
Quote:
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—An unknown person attempted to scrawl the words “TOTAL AUTHORITY” on the United States Constitution with a Sharpie, the National Archives reported on Tuesday.
A security guard spotted the attempted vandalism on Tuesday morning, when he noticed “something weird” on the glass case protecting the priceless historical document.
“Someone had written the words in big block letters,” the security guard said. “Plus, both ‘total’ and ‘authority’ were misspelled.”
“It looked like the work of a small child, but there are no school groups here because of the coronavirus and whatnot,” he added. “So it’s a real mystery.”
Harland Dorrinson, a spokesperson for the National Archives, said that, even though the Constitution was unharmed, the Archives are launching a “full investigation” to determine what “sick person” attempted to deface the document.
“Somewhere in Washington, there’s a person on the loose who hates the way the Constitution is actually written,” he said.

outline for a drama.
"He's drained the Swamp."
Leaving him as the remaining top predator. He's killed off the other pedators and leaving the remora sucking his blood. The swamp is a giant mud field, trapping the smaller & immature predators, and only puddles for the remaining minions. He's destroyed the ecosystem that allowed him to initially thrive. That remaining ecosystem must either turn on him to survive or simply die.
If the ecosystem dies, he will starve. Any remaining fish have taken poison that will kill the predator if they are eaten. Hunters are looking to make a trophy of the last big bad top predator.
No one is moving any goalposts and stop with the cult references. Trump supporters are no more of a cult than the Obama supporters were.
Roll your eyes all you want. Trumpies are a cult. And just like every other cult, you will let your leader take everything. Your dignity, your morals, your free thought. And in the end, you will be left holding the bag, wondering where that bus came from that just ran you over.

It is clear Trump wants power, authority -- and no responsibility.
It doesn't work that way
You should try pulling your fingers out of your ears and listen to what people say instead of parroting the same old tired bullcrap that has no basis in fact.
I've heard Trump doesnt read that much, unless maybe there are pictures, or McDonald's tear out coupons in the back.
Maybe he needs the Muppets to act it out for him.
