I equate anyone who supports belief systems that boasts of eternal suffering for non believers (or even people who dare to believe differently) to Nazis.

It's absolutely hate speech, and if I was ever to hear it in my home, against my wishes, I would see it as an act of aggression that justifies force.

So the majority of Christians as well?

Where is the hate in the adhan? Just curious.

Justifies force against who exactly?

Anyone who preaches hate against me, is my enemy.

The call to prayer is just advertising for the hate system.

Whoever refuses to turn the hate speech off.

So again...

Does that apply to majority of Christians as well? Yes or no.

Again, where is the hate in the adhan? Can you point out the words?

Justifies force against who exactly? Who is supposedly responsible to turn off the speech?

Anyone who preaches hate against me, is my enemy.

The adhan is promoting a cosmic *******, who wants to torture me.

Whoever refuses to turn off the speakers peacefully.

I’ve got to agree with this. After I learned that this is not merely a call to prayer, but an actual Muslim prayer praising their prophet Muhammed, I did a little research. He was a hater and a bigot (also a pedophile, it seems), who said G-d cursed the Jews and turned them into apes and rats. That’s not very nice. I also believe that he prohibited Christians from ringing their church bells, because he didn’t allow for any other religion, but I need to do more research there.

So why should Christians and Jews, who also live in Omar’s district, be forced to listen to a prayer praising such a man, and what he stood for? If the Muslims want to pray to him in the privacy of their mosques, OK....but they shouldn’t be forcing people of other religions to listen to it.

It’s not the same thing as pretty bells that have no words.

From where I'm sitting, the bully is the one wants to selectively shut other people up - not the one who wants to spread his message. Particularly a message that's welcome and popular in the community.

Pretty much every religion promotes a cosmic entity that'll torture the non-believers in the afterlife. That dog won't hunt.

There’s supposed to be separation of church and state. In this case, the local council exempted Muslims from noise ordinances so they could blast Muslim doctrine at a high decibel level throughout public streets. Even at 5 a.m.!
