Unfortunately it doesn't matter....when you can go out with friends and family to a local restaurant without everyone being suspicious....then this is over. Great Depressions do happen....whether we admit this or not they do and you can't force people to go back out without their confidence. History happens.

We will recovery slowly but things have changed and there is nothing anybody can do about it now.

I'm one of them....my industry has taken at least a 75% to 80% hit. I want to go back to work and earn....but that won't happen until everybody gets on board with this.....and right now they are not...even if they say so. They don't want to put people they know and love including themselves in danger. That includes Trump supporters...I know this for a fact because most of my family do support Trump and this is the way they are behaving.

I hope you find what you a seeking. Something challenging and fulfilling, where you can grow, personally, professionally, spiritually, financially and socially. I wish you great success. God made you for a purpose and you will be happy when you find out what that is and are able to give yourself to it.

It is going to be very difficult for you or anyone to realize these sorts of aspirations while locked down under a government mandated quarantine. This is almost certainly going to have to be lifted first.

I hope not if I don't find something else.
Well that's the thing. It was always difficult to get another job so I worry that even if it is lifted I'll still be stuck where I am so I don't know how to be okay with things going back to normal because nothing ever changes.

Yeah I don't know when I'll get on board. On the one hand I don't want it to be forever for other reasons but on the other hand it almost feels like in my case that I can never go back. There's no benefit to going back to it because I'm already working and so far the universe has shown me this is the best that I'm going to get.

I agree with you JohnBoy. I'm reading that people are just not ready to put themselves or their loved ones in harm's way with this virus. Until there is a vaccine, or adequate testing and contact testing and until the numbers start coming down consistently, I think this is what we are dealing with now.

I understand businesses needing to get back to work, but we are in a different world now. Many are going to want to maintain social distancing and take other precautions, but it will be difficult to open a restaurant at half-capacity, or any other venue at half-capacity to accommodate those guidelines and yet make money necessary to remain open. Not to mention schools. I can't see parents wanting to send their kids back to sitting right next to each other, 30 to a class.

That's why we've needed guidance and real leadership from day one, but sadly, it never materialized. Now we're all left fumbling in the dark and trying to find our own individual way.

Or we could look at the real numbers and realize the best thing g to do is isolate the mist vulnerable instead of shutting down forever

That would not work, Ive heard so many people say the same thing the past couple days, and I asked them, whats to prevent an infected person (who is showing no symptoms), from mingling in with the healthy crowd, who just wants to get back to work and do what they want?

It could even be someone who has not been tested, (that doesnt even know they are a carrier), they could be infecting people left and right out in the workforce when its opened up!

How do you prevent this?

Does that mean we have to social distance forever?

Does that mean sporting events, concerts, movie theaters, gyms, dine in restaurants, shopping etc will have to close permanently?

Does that mean schools and universities will be online Permanently

Would you be ok with this?
You are asking readers to speculate.

By putting the word experts in quotations, are you asserting that scientists and doctors are not experts? You almost finished high school, so you think you're as qualified as them? Okay lol
