The executive order targets companies granted liability protections through Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Without congressional action, however, there are limits to what Trump can do with the executive order."

Your "big baby" comment reminds me of that wonderful British balloon. I wonder what happened to that.

I agree - except that he went off the deep end long ago.

"Probably the stupidest"? No question. This is the guy who had to be told the significance of Pearl Harbor, who didn't seem to know who Frederick Douglass was.

And I think attacking the WP and NYT was one of the stupidest things he did early on.

About damn time the social media companies lose their liability shield if they are going to engage in censorship.

Which now means that they are PUBLISHERS and not platforms.

Youtube especially has been nearly destroyed and made sterile because of it.

What is Absentee Voting?
Absentee voting (aka “mail-in voting” and “by-mail voting”) is conducted by mail-in ballot before the day of Election Day. All states will mail a ballot to voters if certain conditions are met. The voter may return the ballot in person or by mail. Some states will let voters apply for an absentee ballot in person before Election Day and then vote the ballot that same day.

The Republican position is that if Twitter wants to engage in significant editing of content they have crossed the line to publisher and should no longer be afforded the protections that law gives them.

I think we should be concerned about the demented old man in the White House. As the election nears and the polls slide more and more to Biden I expect the moron will do something extreme like trigger a war.

Is is possible there is one person who isn't aware of Trump's lies? At the end of 2019 Trump was documented with over 20,000 lies. Trump even lies about the lies he previously lied about.
How can you tell Trump is lying? His lips are moving.

Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and sites like this one would be destroyed under Biden's proposal. What's your thoughts on that?

You do realize this liability means they will need to BAN controversial accounts, right? As in: goodbye Trump twitter messages. I'm expecting this to backfire badly, if twitter doesn't cave right away.
