Let Twitter become a publisher by editing and censoring. Then people can sue them and get rich and start their own platform which allows free speech.

So you are demanding Biden and the Dems freely testify in open sessions regarding their role in the Ukraine scandal? Good for you!

There's no problem with demography in social media.

Twitter is a bit left-leaning compared to the general population in terms of its user base. Facebook and Youtube seem to be trending to the right. Those are the fruits of the media acting as free markets, if we assume these trends are laissez faire.

The concern is about censorship, when you crowbar a discrepancy between demography and the representation of ideas.

My understanding is Trump's EO will be about "usership" wrapped in a non-existent censorship package. Remember, he's framing this as being unfair, which implies a comparison to others (usership), not concept of being ideas being compromised (censorship). As has been pointed out repeatedly in this thread, Trump has not been censored. Disclaimered, perhaps, but not censored. He has been able to represent his ideas unfettered. I don't ever recall he himself saying he's been censored, that's on his supporters.

He's been railing about this for years. There have been some pretty spicy dust-up's between him and the NYC tabloids, so this is nothing new. It's amusing that in those cases his complaint was that they could print what ever they wanted. But now his argument is of an opinion that he alone should have that uncontested right (which he already has). The logic (if you want to call it that) is quite convoluted.

No matter. Nobody is shutting down any websites over this.

A publisher just like a newspaper with an editorial page.

This is nothing new they are no different than a newspaper that won't print your letter to the editor, good luck with the Trump lawsuit for censorship. He may have other means of getting out his message, I think it's what is known as a press conference. He likes Twitter because he doesn't have to defend his comments like rampant voter fraud or Joe Scarborough killing an intern, this is why he hates press conferences where reporters ask him very mean questions.

Your guess is as good as mine!
Does his close advisers and family believe his drivel?
I think so.

Nope, it is not editing, it is practicing free speech. You might learn more about free speech in the first amendment of our constitution.

You should really look up anecdotal fallacy, before you post drivel again.

We fact check each other constantly. Our posts are often deleted or parts deleted by the mods. I don't blow a gasket about it like trump does.

Why are you here on this forum? According to your logic, this forum abuses their power. I assume you are done here as a result. Take care..
