Your poll is flawed.

Nobody is "locked down".

And which governors are "extending" restrictions? How many? Can you name them?

Politico said it best a few days ago .... they are Panicking because their own Economists have said we are headed for a fast recovery. Their last hope is for large Cities to stay Locked Down to force a recession.

It's none of the above. It's a combination of cover-your-posterior, a wholesale worship of the God of Safety, and a misallocation of priorities.

Nobody ever got fired or otherwise reprimanded for being "too safe". Ergo, the safety-culture runs rampant. The workman who gets the job done, without a hard-hat or safety-harness or the right equipment or whatnot, receives no reward for being quick, expeditious or cost-conscious. His counterpart, who refuses to start the job before every box on the checklist is checked, is instead the paragon of virtue.

Politics matters, but this goes beyond politics. It's more a question of culture.

Like it or hate it the following is only my opinion:

Seems like the result of the polls are going to be a landslide.........................
The agenda is for the far left to keep bashing the President over the head with a hammer
as the cause of all things bad while using the media to spew anti-Trump Diatribe at the expense of
the citizens held up in their homes.

Perhaps if you provide a link the extensions you are referring to we might have something to talk about.

Florida still has some restrictions, as does other states run by Reublican Governors.

They don't bother you -- just the Democrat Governors?

What restrictions are you seeing as a problem?

I won't presume to speak for others, but my #1 peeve is that gyms remain closed in our area. No, it's not a question of masks, social distancing or limiting numbers of patrons. The gyms are flat-out closed, full stop.

They are control freaks to the very central most kernel of their beings. Having this kind of power over their people and the ability to control them to this degree is what they secretly long for and lust after. The very idea of wanting to let this go is contrary to their deepest drives and instincts.

That is why they want to keep this going.

Oregon for one - til July 6th.
Los Angeles until the end of August.

A lot of the country is and has been 'locked down'....where have you been? Oh, probably locked down.......

This is all political, it's the Democrats' last gasp to get rid of Trump. And they'll sacrifice the economy and millions of people's lives to do it.
