Complaining about protests that were not sponsored by the government while condoning rallies by the president in enclosed venues, not quite the same.

If you were honest, you would admit that the left/msm (can't tell a difference) criticized across the spectrum. De Blasio would arrest you if you were at the beach alone socially distancing, how dare the Michigan protestors demand that the state opens back up they are killing grandma, I can't believe so and so isn't wearing a mask - ruin them, etc...
These riots and looters are essentially state sponsored. Washington's governor pretended like he didn't know CHAZ existed and the Seattle mayor frames it as mellow hippies having a summer of love.

Well, first of all, no healthy people have been quarantined. If you were quarantined, you wouldn't be able to leave your home.
Secondly, businesses, schools, etc. shut down during the 1918-19 pandemic. A simple Google search will tell you all you need to know about what worked and what didn't during that pandemic. Lessons we should have learned, but did not. There's a nice selection of articles about it here;

The protests are worrisome, no doubt, but from what I see in every shot on TV, the vast, vast majority of protesters are wearing masks. The cops are not, which seems weird. The protests are outdoors too, and what we have seen from beach opening, earlier protests (where most did not wear masks), and park openings, the virus does not spread efficiently in outdoor settings. But yeah, it only takes one to go to a restaurant or a bar after the march and infect a bunch of people.

I am speaking about the left collectively. The left (which includes the msm) is extremely hypocritical in who they call out for violating social distancing norms.
They don't base it on science. They base it on politics.
