OP, do you know that China has essentially stolen millions of acres of land from Vietnam? They awarded themselves a 99 year lease and the Vietnamese who aren’t leaving are being disappeared as we speak. The China you love so much.
You should be banned for this propaganda.
If this were China, he would be. Along with disappeared from the face of the planet.
We are all entitled to our opinions, but I believe you are forgetting many facts that have occurred over the decades.
People point to Tiananmen Square as a low point, but in reality they have been abusing their people for as long as the communist gained control.
Heck I remember when I was in DC back in 2007 or so, and there were at least 20 yellow people holding up signs saying the Chinese government was taking the organs of political prisoners.
They had such graphic pictures, I stopped to ask where they had acquired them.
One person said a prison medical staff member took and smuggled those pictures out, at great risk not only to himself, but also his family.
Apparently the ChiComs will use Mafia tactics to target informers families, if they cannot get to them directly.
It is little wonder then that most people on CD will be puzzled about how ALL the various things the Chinese government does, is blissfully ignored by persons such as yourself.

The problem is that just because you see people demonstrate doesn't mean they are telling the truth. It is no coincidence that there is the term "atrocity propaganda".
Think of the HK protests recently. Turns out one of the most "famous" Chinese protesters and activists is actually a white guy from the Midwest, who pretends to be Chinese:
China has its major problems and some pros. They have taken the hit for the rest of the world to become the world's manufacturing center, along with the population and other environmental issues to boot.
The government is extremely insecure and bans any negative press / media / communication, which is against basic human rights and freedom.
They have a very complex history, being conquered countless times over its history. The most recent conquest by Japan and the subsequent horrific massacres have played some major impact on the psyche of the country.
In the US we have the luxury to sit and judge other countries, without the experience of horrific invasion and massacres in our home land. I feel that we ought to temper our judgement because we come from a background of relative stability and prosperity compared to China.
Is China a potential adversary? Yes. Could they be an ally also? Yes, on some matters - fighting terrorism, global stability from an economic standpoint.
So many complex facets of our relationship...it's easy to slam them as 100% evil, but it is good to take a step back to review the good and the bad.
The US is not in the position to judge anyone as it is just mediocre to begin with.
As the Economist said the US is a flawed democracy. On most rankings the US is just mediocre as well.
In my view the US is the worst country out there, a moral black hole, a psychopath of a country, led and poisoned by evangelical fascists.
Chinese citizens flee the CCP in search of a better life? Or are they CCP agents infecting Vietnam with a more deadly strain of the CCP virus? Vietnam had a rash of new cases after these Chinese nationals arrived. It wouldn't be the first time the CCP did this. In the beginning of the pandemic China knew about the human-to-human transmission of the virus but let their infected citizens travel overseas to spread the virus.
I am curious what the WHO mission to China will discover, I am pretty sure it will be bad news for the racist fascists in the White House and Pentagon.
China is not the 'good guy' no matter how much you wish it to be.
The truth is getting out. Even the CCP huge army of wumao can't suppress it.
