I agree that religion is where it starts , another thing that
has surprised me is how much influence religious groups have on
our government.

Personally as I get older I just get more and more tired of the really stupid. We live in an era with a wealth of information at our fingertips (assuming you can remove yourself from your echo chamber).
Social media is just reflecting what was always there. If we got rid of social media, we would still have alot of hatred. Plenty of chatrooms to get involved in and spread hate. Getting rid of Facebook won't stop it. We would have to get rid of the internet altogether, and most people aren't willing to do that.

As I can tell from this exchange it won't matter
much what anyone says.

As far as my postings go I really , really do not take
any of these discussions for much value hence it does not matter much.

However when I read posts from cultist that drank deep at the Trump's well
it must be called out, either in a funny or rude way because your
group is too far gone to reason with.

Why bother posting long post when all the Trumper's can say
repeatedly how Trump saved the world ? On top of his extraordinary love
for the lowly/common man and the best one about how
lefty is turning us socialistic .
Yikes and huge lol.

Yes, most Americans can put together coherent sentences and are fearless when it comes to leaving their basement.* President Donald Trump doesn't need the imaginary corn pop to lead him to the bathroom or tell him where he is.* If the machines weren't fixed, the truth would keep china joey in his basement.

whites have been shamed to no end. enough is enough already. what is it that can be done anyway? stir up angers?

everything was progressing nicely until BLM set black people back 20 years.

I believe it may partially be due to US citizen’s mass infatuation with social media and news networks that are more opinion pieces looking for high ratings (aka money) than getting out facts and actual news. This all divides us even more.

Let’s try to have a civil conversation here. No need to rant about the left or right. No need for name calling.

Why is there so much hate in the USA? What is causing it?
Where have you traveled? I have to ask because hatred based on politics, states and ethnicities is not exclusive to America. It is in abundance here, but we're not alone in having hatred.

Hatred has existed in America long before social media was ever a thing. Look at U.S. history. Racial hatred has been part of U.S. history from day one. Look at politics. This country nearly fell apart in something known as the Civil War.

We have always had hatred in America. I think it's because there are those who want America to be their way. Look at the very beginning. The founding fathers knew that slavery would become a wedge issue and that it would tear America apart. Slave states vs free states, and the slave states wanted the federal government to protect their slave-owning way of life to the point of making the free states turn back slaves who escaped into free states (Fugitive Slave Act). Bleeding Kansas is an example of the political violence that has taken place in America. Pro-slavery and anti-slavery forces tried to push Kansas their way, and it turned into violence. Kansas would enter the USA as a free state, but Bleeding Kansas was basically a precursor to the Civil War. And then the Civil War happened.

After the Civil War ended, there were still hard feelings, and racial animosity was on steroids. The 14th Amendment meant citizenship for former slaves. Reconstruction also took place. The KKK formed and it went on a racial violence campaign to intimidate Blacks. After Reconstruction ended, Jim Crow ended. Jim Crow lasted for almost a century.

And I haven't even gotten into the Indian Wars that took place in America, and the Trail of Tears. Native Americans were kicked off of their land every time something like gold got discovered. Alot of racial animosity involved between certain tribes, and racial animosity between Whites and Native Americans.

And then other things like clashes between immigrants and the native-born. The Nativist Know-Nothing Party was anti-Catholic and xenophobic. And this was directed towards immigrants from Ireland and Germany. There were some clashes between Catholics and Protestants in America. Anyone who thinks this is limited to the Troubles in Ireland, look at American history (the KKK also hated Catholics).

Political, ethnic, and racial hatred have been a part of America from day one. And it has alot to do with the tribalistic attitudes that have been around. It has to do with what has been done to people as well. There are so many reasons why hate has existed in America. It is about wanting all the power, it is about fear, arrogance, and what we're seeing today, is a milder form of what has always existed in America. As bad is it is, this is how I see it. Social media is not the cause, but the reflection of it. What we see on social media is merely a symptom of other problems in society.

So what are you doing about the genocide the USA committed? Are you promoting the teaching of it? Do you care? Why or why not?
