No, that's not it, Tipsy. It's true Trump has no business being president. He's a lousy game show host, for heaven sake! He only plays president on TV. He loves the power but has no interest in doing the job of being president.
Hate is a powerful word. Let's just say he's disliked for being so incompetent; for being so ignorant about what's entailed in being president; for being so ignorant of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; for not turning over his tax returns; for committing a felony by paying off a porn star so she wouldn't spill the beans about his affair with her right before the 2016 election; for lying about Mexico paying to build the wall and tens of thousands of other things; for saying on camera that he would tell the truth if he can; for saying the media is "the enemy of the people," when the media are one of the few things that are keeping Trump from becoming an all-powerful dictator of this democratic republic; and for.... well, for hundreds of other words and actions Trump has unleashed upon this country.
And yet, people keep coming here. Some are sitting in cages so desperate to be a part of the American citizenry, they risked their freedoms.
What do they see that the American citizen fails to see? If they saw hate, why not stay in their own country, where they are already victims of hate?
In Central America, there is a lot more than hate directed at them. There is a huge amount of violence by uncontrollable gangs, especially rapes of women and girls.
