The entire meal, she was railing against how Republicans don’t want to help the working poor (knowing I’m Republican....these leftists can’t help themselves), and that we need to provide more for them - increase minimum wage, increase food stamps, raise the cap under which working poor qualify for subsidized housing, etc.)

Then the bill came. We had the same thing, and the tip (which I calculate on 20%) came to $4.40, and I said that I was going to round it up to $5 since he had to do extra to serve us. She said, rather haughtily, “why should I do that? He gets 15%.” She then whipped out a calculation card (a lawyer, so smart...earning well into the six figures, twice my earnings at the time) and said that 15% is $3.30. And that’s what she gave. She couldn’t even round up 70 lousy cents to make it $4.

Liberals are such hypocrites.
This story is simply . . fascinating. I was absolutely riveted.

He was valued at $84.5 million in 2018; $100,000 is 0.1% of that. Whoopie. Why do the wealthy pat themselves on the back for donating a token amount? It was probably a tax write-off.

Well when you get to the Pearly Gate, they give you a questionnaire. Covering the bases?

Doesn't absolve him of anything.

Hitler was also a Ve-gan, they're good people, right?

Donating $100,000 doesn’t make up for his hate speech and nastiness.

This kind of language is the legacy of Rush Limbaugh. We are no longer Americans, neighbors and friends....now we are all political labels.

I sincerely doubt that Limbaugh is patting himself on the back following the release of this news.

It most certainly was a tax write-off at his income level and the amount in question.

Basically, who wants to give 30k (after giving 100k away) to the government when they don't have to?

Limbaugh doesn't need absolution for anything, he was a great man, hated only by those who fear the truths he exposed. Leftist feared him, you are safe from him now but he remains a great human being despite the fear and hatred from the left.

Rush gave possibly more than a hundred million away to charities, he even had charity events on his show where he raised millions and matched it. He also loved tech and gave away apple products on his show daily.
