You understand that the building had people that are protected and lethal force would be expected when a mob chanting that they wanna hang the vp break into the building.
He ran from the cop
With Babbitl they were actively trying to hold off a crowd of people that were hostile and wanted to break into a building THAT SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO HAVE HIGH SECURITY AND INE MIGHT GET SHOT IF THE BREAK INTO IT. If she was running FROM. The cops, then your argument would be valid...
Your argument is faulty - and I'll repost from the other thread.
You have no consistency.
He was resisting and trying to get away - and a felon with a possible firearm fleeing is a danger to the community.
2 completely different incidents. Can't believe people out here really think on this low of a level. One person trying to climb through barricaded doors to get to federally elected officials, the other person pulled over and trying to run AWAY.
All of a sudden all that blue lives matter mess is out the window. LMAO
Dude seriously, they’re trying to use the logic that Duante could’ve been dangerous, but they don’t ask the question for Babbit who was literally on the offensive.
IIRC, the public had not been allowed in the Capitol building for months prior to Jan 6. Any person having business needed a pass and an escort.
She was an aggressor and trying to help break into a room that was heavily guarded. She could’ve had a possible fire arm.
He was trying to flee, and possibly had a firearm but he wasn’t charging at anyone.
The cops knew he was a felon with an active warrant. And yes, when he tried to flee he was charging at the ENTIRE COMMUNITY and putting them in danger.
There is absolutely no scramble. Those things arent on the same universe. Babbit was breaching a barricaded section of the capitol, the kid was trying to flee an arrest. One cop by her own admission was an accidental shooting, which has been charged with manslaughter because that is what happens when you kill someone by accident. The capitol cop was doing his job of holding a barricaded entry point.
Who killed Ashley Babbitt? we will never know and the MSM doesn't care
She had to have known there was a loaded weapon pointed right at that broken window. She had a choice to make and she made it, just like the guy who zapped himself in the gonads five times. Each had their own choice to make on that fateful day.
The Capitol Police, who had an obligation to protect the lives and safety of our representatives ... and ultimately our Federal republic, put themselves in harm's way and stood their ground.
Either way, simply resisting should not warrant death. Resistance means your trying to get away.
Ashley was doing the opposite. She was with the crowd actively trying to break through. It’s the capital. I think most people realize that people in there are protected with deadly force.
Resisting means you have not been searched for a weapon. It means you might be carrying a weapon. Letting the perp shoot before you can shoot is the stuff of liberal daydreams.
Especially when the action is fast and dynamic, split second delay and your toast.
As if we did not already know it, this just further confirms that the DOJ is corrupt and not trustworthy to handle these matters in a fair, unbiased and objective manner.
