Urban areas don't even need to be policed. Everyone knows that it is just propaganda that these places are any more dangerous than a typical suburb. This is where the reimagine policing originates from. Social workers mental health experts are really what is needed. But then the paradoxes who's going to enforce all the regulations that the legislature constantly turns out? That is why I think we need a separate police force. Enforce regulations and the other to say come on let's talk this out on the couch.
Every morning I turn on the local news and there are multiple reports of murder and violence in "urban" areas that everyone knows are almost 100% black. That is REALITY. Those areas are violent and dangerous even for the people that live there. You post is either because you know nothing about these areas or you are lying.
Clearly this is in response to the recent Chauvin trial where a police officer was held accountable for killing a citizen during an arrest for a non-violent misdemeanor alleged offense.
So what you learned from this American tragedy is a police officer's duty is to shoot black people when arresting them for a non-violent crime? Your white superiority and total ignorance of policing is showing. And it is totally out of line with the thinking and sworn duty of the thousands and thousands of hard working, dedicated and law abiding police who do protect and serve the American people.
“The officers knew what was happening — one intentionally caused it, and the others failed to prevent it,” Chief Arradondo said during his trial testimony. This Minneapolis police chief also reminded the courtroom, and everyone watching the world over, that police officers have a duty to care even when arresting someone.
If officers, including the chief of police, are saying that what Chauvin did was wrong — swearing under oath that it was wrong — it only adds to what civil rights activists and justice movements have been saying all along: Holding bad officers accountable is the only way that we begin to reform policing.
We must, in these United States, beyond the case of Floyd, start examining accountability, criminal justice and much needed police reform. We can't keep finding ourselves here, fighting for justice in the death of another unarmed citizen who never should have died at the hands of an institution sworn to protect and serve.
And dumb threads, such as this one, clearly are meant to increase racial tensions & problems rather than be a part of any solution & meaningful much needed criminal justice and policing reform, that will benefit all Americans regardless of their skin color or political affiliation.
My reaction is a result of the almost constant riots over a small number of white cops doing their job and shooting a criminal who just happens to be black. Floyd had a more than lethal amount of one of the most powerful drugs ever made. He was dying already. He was a criminal who had a history of sticking a gun in the abdomen of a woman. Floyd was a giant compared to the officer. Everybody ignores that fact. Meanwhile the black community, the democrats, and the media ignore the fact that most black people who are murdered are murdered by other black people.
40 million plus police interactions in any given year and less than 20 unarmed black people shot by police. In almost every case, as a result of not complying, having another weapon or reaching for something, yet, here we are, demonizing the entire policing system.
It's time to stand up to this nonsense. Don't be afraid to speak the truth.
This isn't a disclaimer, because I believe cops do a great job as a whole, but where there needs to be additional training, I'm all for it. But, don't tell me a dog is a cat and expect me to believe it.
Stop trying to destroy the greatest country in the world's existence. Instead, just leave.
Out of those 20, how many did the police involved know were "unarmed"? In a criminal situation especially ion a violent area the officer has to assume the criminal has some weapon.
How does this 20 compare to the number of black people murdered by other blacks? Don't those lives MATTER? 20 out of 40 million is proof that the existence "systemic racism" is made up by the biased media, the radical democrats, and BLM. The facts do not support that idea.
I took it to be a comment on the shooting of the black girl attempting to murder another black girl before the white officer stopped the murder.
Correct and about the pattern that if a white office shoots a black criminal, the officer is automatically a racist murderer when in nearly every case they are just doing their job of protecting the community.
It’s unreal the way we have liberals defending a violent person about to kill another person and castigating or at least calling into question the actions of the quick-witted person who saved the old-be victim’s life. Could it be because the person acting like a violent savage was black, and the person who stopped her is white?
Whether from black, white or other neighborhoods, police don't need to respond to reports of fights. Let them settle their disputes on their own.
So the two girls that were attacked in Columbus should have just fought it out with the teen with a knife? You know, just let them settle their disputes on their own? You would have ended up with 2 dead instead of one, and let a girl who was willing to stab someone loose on society to kill again. What a messed up world you dream of.

It's hard to have the truth be spoken when the corrupt and evil media, politicians on the left, athletes and celebrities, and even the President and Vice President, are spewing lies, hatred for law enforcement and stoking the flames of racism.
Many black communities have been insisting on only black cops being assigned there. Fine. By the same token, only white cops would be allowed to police predominately white communities. Lets go back to the 1940s, like these liberal idiots want.
