i wonder when it reaches the point of malicious prosecution. NY especially has gone overboard on trying to nail Trump on everything it possibly could. Just imagine that power focused on YOU and decide if you are really in favor of Governments being able to non stop go after someone. What would happen if let say Florida started going after every liberal Dem who had sometype of legal presence in Florida(and they certainly exist) and filed charge after charge against them using the States virtually endless resources to do so. Heck i wonder if Gov. Cuomo has some property or presence in Florida and i bet a few Floridians or families of Floridians died in NY nursing homes. Perhaps florida should find a way to go after him for that.....

Sure there was. More time, money, hope, and wishing, will turn up the same results. I expect even more hurt feelings than after because Trumps last impeachment win.
Removal from office win, not impeachment win.
Impeachment is a House action.
Once at least one article of impeachment has passed a vote of no the house floor (not in committee) the President has been impeached.
Bill Clinton was impeached.
Clinton didn’t become ‘less impeached’ because the Senate acquitted him/didn’t remove him from office.
Trump was impeached twice.
Trump will forever be a twice impeached former POTUS, and will forever be the first twice impeached POTUS.
Nah, barely anyone cares about Slick Willy being “impeached”. It affected his life in all but no way, same as it will with because Trump. After all, he won twice and is still galavanting around and has the ability to run for POTUS. Had because Trump lost, he wouldn’t be able to run again

The two are not inextricably linked.
They involve two separate votes.
Trump could have been found guilty and then, in the separate vote, not been barred from holding Federal office again (although, re his second impeachment, that would have been silly, as the ultimate point that time, besides generally holding him accountable, was to prevent him from running again).

Until he takes his last breath (unless he runs again, wins, and dies in office), Trump will be a twice impeached former POTUS, and he will forever be the first POTUS to have been impeached twice.
