New York was the epicenter when no one knew how to deal with this virus. They learned as time went on and now are no longer a hot spot. What's DeSantis's excuse? Slow learner?

I would say refuses to learn. Slow would be a vast improvement. I’ll take slow.

I wouldn't reach any conclusion yet... this virus is almost at 1/2 time. We've got 2.5 more years to deal with it. The world is a petri dish.

2.5 years? How? This virus is going NOWHERE. We'll probably have another completely new one thrown in within 20 years (because: higher world population, remember SARS and MERS and other almost-pandemics since 2000...)

The data is available. I just read it. We now have the lambda variant, at the southern border. Here's a link from CNN for my lefty friends so they'll read it.

It's too bad someone like DeSantis isn't stepping up and doing his part right now to stem the spread, isn't it? He's doing everything in his power to do the exact opposite, which will prolong the pandemic. And all because his base is so stupid they can't see past the talking points about their FREEEEDUM!

I think his Presidential ambitions are more important than the lives of Florida's citizens.

I'd say Governor DeSantis has done an excellent job and put a lot of effort and inertia in the process to get Floridians, vaccinated, prepared, informed, educated while protecting the economy and the rights of Florida's citizens. It's OK to disagree here in the free state of Florida and you still have the freedom to wear a mask where ever your heart desires.

Well you know he's an advocate for the vaccine as well as a advocate for individual rights... something we all have, but don't respect. That's too bad.

Where do you call home?

Leadership scares democrats. Compliance pleases democrats. Governor DeSantis is a leader and will not comply with the nanny state promoted by the left with politically infused science.

That's scientifically referred to as a double whammy
