Seriously? He was in the Administration for 9 of the last 12 years and even voted to go to Afghanistan. What responsibility is he shouldering?? Letting it fall and cause WWIII.
Political hyperbole aside, your response is an example of alternative facts. Biden clearly knows there were miscalculations in his exit command. He clearly takes responsibility for it. But he is very clear: no more military presence in Afghanistan. There will be no more “just a few more years”.
Whatever his involvement or support for the war was in the past, he took the decisive action to trigger the withdrawal of troops and personnel.
Criticize his decision? Go right ahead. But he ended our involvement in Afghanistan’s civil conflict and that is a reality that no outrage, fabricated or not, can ever alter.
Kamala is still being hidden due to her mismanagement of the illegal alien crisis on the southern border. She can't afford being tainted with this mess.
She can only handle small issues or "quick wins". She's being told to cackle, tweet platitudes, and otherwise keep a low profile.
Whether you love President Biden or you hate him because he beat the other guy, you have to respect that speech he gave.
He was powerful. He was decisive. He was a leader.
The war in Afghanistan has no resolution. We all know it. President Biden made the executive decision to exit the war as he promised in the campaign, a war that went on 20 years too long. He vowed to extricate our brave men and women from a 20-year civil conflict and he kept his promise.
He knows his decision will be criticized. He knows the decision was far from perfect. But he is the leader of the United States and he promised to deliver our troops from the Afghan’s civil conflict. He did.
It is so nice to actually hear a leader who will take responsibility for his actions. Love him or hate him, agree with his decision or not, he is our President and today he showed us the kind of leadership that was missing in the last administration.
Well, nothing's stopping these so called allies from sending their own troops to stop this. So until they have any kind of money or skin in this, then they need to shut the hell up!
You don't seem to comprehend the effects this debacle is going to have on Europe. They have skin in this, big time.
"he bottom line is Trump had a better plan in place." LOL Trump plan: Peace Deal in feb 2020->release 5000 taliban prisoners-> Talbian attack kundaz in march 2020. Ya buddy good plan.
Lol aww that's cute, you learned how to copy and paste! How about you stop parroting that one line you cherry picked from whatever Liberal rag you found it from and add some value to the conversation?
Oh that's right, you can't. You have NOTHING! No new wars under Trump, and he brokered multiple peace deals in the Middle East. So "ya buddy," much better than the clown who's in office. But hey, no more mean Tweets to hurt that fragile ego of yours, right?

That is a well balanced post. Thank you. Are you a centrist?
