I do think Trump might have listened to his generals on the strategy a bit more. Biden has an innate distrust and dislike of them. This is coming from a Biden voter who despises Trump.

Biden should have done better.
So Biden left both Americans and Afghans, very nice of him. Biden didn’t care period. He didn’t listen to anyone who warned him or advised him.

did you accidently log into your burner account, or are you answering for someone else ?

Anyways, A June 11 memo ordering the dismantling of the CCRB literally means nothing to this discussion because

The original date these people were told to leave was May 1, not "sometime after June 11th"

Again, even the updated plan was to get people out by the end of this month.

But May 1 is not the day we left. We just left. And before we left, the Biden admin pulled the plug on a plan that could have helped.

May 1 is not the day the military left. Civilians have been told to leave for a year and half now. they arent meant to be there on the last day the military leaves,so arguing that the military hadnt left yet if logically foolish.

Do yall really not get that ???? This is an honest question.

Well if it wasn't, that is a further proof point of the failure in planning.

It's funny how a month ago it was the first question out of the mouth of every journalist...

It's also odd that you would prefer to believe in the negligently insufficient capability of the US defence and Intel communities, rather than just concede that Biden failed. Come on man, which seems a more likely scenario...

^This will just fall upon deaf ears. That poster doesn't seem to know much about any of what's going on and doesn't really seem to care

Try again......
Trumps team had a plan and conditional elements of the withdrawal. This current fiasco would not have happened as those conditions were not being met.

Probably A(i) or B at worst.

You plan by recognising that likely scenario and removing people before it happens. Damn any Junior Officer just coming out of training could tell you that.
