Trump would not have given a rat's behind about any Afghanis who helped us in the war. He would have probably done his best to be sure Americans were removed. Trump's handling of the situation, in the end, would have been worse than Biden's b/c he would have left our Afghani helpers to rot. I do think Trump might have listened to his generals on the strategy a bit more. Biden has an innate distrust and dislike of them. This is coming from a Biden voter who despises Trump.
Biden should have done better.
So Biden left both Americans and Afghans, very nice of him. Biden didn’t care period. He didn’t listen to anyone who warned him or advised him.

It's also odd that you would prefer to believe in the negligently insufficient capability of the US defence and Intel communities, rather than just concede that Biden failed. Come on man, which seems a more likely scenario...
The Taliban are a group of around 20 tribes, how does anyone plan for a force of 300,000 surrendering in a week without a shot being fired. So which scenario is this, X, Y or Z.
Probably A(i) or B at worst.
You plan by recognising that likely scenario and removing people before it happens. Damn any Junior Officer just coming out of training could tell you that.
