So, it seems most people want prohibitive laws passed plus some free stuff thrown in. Free stuff more important than freedom.

I work in medicine, think Fauci. If the mind is good and the person can move then they stay as department heads, senior positions, ect. And boomers can be as young as 58-60, not all are retirement age although in my situation they are past retirement.

The worst part is the board or people that select personnel for those positions are all Boomers too.

Gen X'ers will retire with Boomers being their supervisors during their entire working career. Talk about a career ceiling, wow.

I am in the oldest Millenial group so I am looking to jump past the Gen X'ers, sorry but I cannot do what you guys have done, wait on these boomers.

Where are we supposed to get the money for war? Or border walls? Or military aid for foreign countries?

It seems if the military industrial complex gets money out of it, it's viable, but if it directly benefits American citizens, it's somehow beyond our reach.

We already pay more for healthcare per capita than any other country. With underperforming results. Just to line the pockets of health insurance companies which are making record profits.

Just look at United Health. Actually reducing the number of plans under their own coverage, while raking in money just administering plans for Medicaid/Medicare.
In 2021, 72% of UnitedHealth’s $222.9 billion health plan revenue came from taxpayers.
94% of its total U.S. membership growth over the past 10 years was in government programs.

And yeah, we can likely afford to cut some military spending...

lol. Good luck with that. Your standard of living is going to be much lower than ours was because of your socialist ideas.

Because young people don't work very hard. SOMEONE has to do the heavy lifting.

I want to see.

- major changes to housing in this country.
a. Less rental properties.
b. a real examination of zoning as it seems to have done little to make layout better and only seems a way to give rich people the ability to do things while stopping the poor.
c. Smaller housing forced on developers. No one needs a 5 bedroom McMansion any longer.

- a Major change to health care.
- no more corporations telling doctors how to treat for their better bottom line.

- A complete head to toe revamping of employment laws. Starting with "at will employment" - when employment becomes a life line for everyone it can't be -- I can fire you for any reason.

- Kicking out the vast majority of illegal aliens and cracking down hard on people who are internal enemies to this country.

- Complete destruction of the current educational model in favor of cheap on line classes.

- Complete revamping of the criminal laws -and justice system. In favor of crimes that really effect people today and in favor of locking up anyone dangerous and, if that means we have to build 500 more prisons, so be it.

Wow. With comments like these, I can see why so many welcome being coddled by the government. Builders build what is selling, and those Mcmansions sell as fast as they go up. It is what it is. When we were house shopping a couple of years ago, it definitely was tough finding what we wanted. Something semi rural, with a large lot , and only around 2000 sqft. It took some time and it all worked out.

Since these huge homes are selling, it's obvious people are buying them. It's supply and demand. When those homes quit selling the builders will start building what does.
