If you look it up, birth rates are dropping everywhere. Even in low income areas, the rate is only 4.6 on average and dropping. High income areas, the rate is 1.6 on average and not dropping very much.
I don’t see Arabs with 8. The Middle East & North Africa is 2.8.
Sub Saharan Africa has the highest in the world, averaging 4.6.
Anyway, capitalism isn’t why the birth rate is dropping. It’s dropping because it needs to drop, way too many people on earth right now. Have you seen the traffic?
I read these posts and think "whatever". I'm 35, no wife, no children.
Smart man. And that's not even a political statement.
That said, my first wife had to threaten me with marriage for kids. I almost agreed to divorce. But my daughter was born when I was 30. As it played out, I was mostly a stay-at-home Dad from 3 months to 4 years old. And it was awesome.
She will turn 22 in a couple of months. Her mom and I are no longer married but on friendly terms. When I relocated for a job two years ago, my daughter jumped on the chance to move. We have a special bond and I am glad that I finally gave in.
Intelligent, independent people are having fewer children. Those living on others are not. It is survival of the fittest. Except that the federal government in interfering with natural selection.
I know a lot of young educated families having more then two children. Teachers, executives RN’s, accountants, engineer and doctor. The engineer and doctor has four kids.

That sounds like 'Malthusianism' to me.
When we're killing our unborn, we're actively killing off innovation.
In other words,. . . Human population keeps up with technological advancements & vice versa.
No one can afford to feed/cloth themselves now in this great system of "Capitalism" the right loves so much Much less breed. I think its safe to say Capitalism is a FAILURE don't you? This is the end result. Zero trust in the future of the nation and to pass on a country to your offspring
I don't know what you're talking about unless you live in an oppressive blue state. If true, then you need to move to a red state. In one red state, Tulsa will pay you $10,000 to move there and become a remote worker.

The fertility rate has been dropping all over the world. It just sunk to 2.0 in India. 2.0 in Mexico. Chinese women can now have 2 children and when Chinese women were polled as to whether or not they'd have a 2nd child, 70% said: No way Jose!
Is it really capitalism, when the capital used for private speculation is being created from nothing and then interest/fees for the privilege being paid up to a few?
Remind me again why I should care about falling birth rates?
The very last thing this world needs is more people.
