Last I checked the government had an obligation to take care of those in the military, please tell me when voluntarily signing up for the military meant a life long committment of the government to take care of you...
Tell that to the veterans living on the streets.

Tell what to the veterans, that they never signed a life long committment contract? I'm sure they are very well aware of this..

So much idealism....I bet in pghquest's world, veterans make a seamless transition to peaceful life stateside after the war.

My "feelings" are that he doesn't actually know any war veterans, but that may not be factual data.

The looney left tree huggers are causing this oil problems with there insane ways of protecting trees and frogs.

And I remember a lady named Pelosi who promised us she would fix the gas prices that Bush caused to go up, well Nancy, they have went out the roof only since you took control and we havent heard from you since.

No need for him to talk about it when the congress is controlled by the loons who promised us they would jump right in and fix it. When was the last time you remember Pelosi or Reid giving a speech on oil prices? You got it, before the 206 election, none since.

I have no clue what your even trying to say... People who volunteered to fight in iraq are leaving foster children as the offsprings?

First you showed your ignorance in the homeless, now the foster care system. You do understand that the system does not put children into foster care because a parent died dont you?

oh wow, I come here to learn from a muckup like you....Mr. Facts, ignorance to you maybe, the "system" doesnt, but the political zoo does, coz those poor men who are returning to that war get no brakes BECAUSE they die for their country over and over???....you make me sick, you go ok?.... tell them they need to keep doing back/back tours for suckups like you who dont do NOTHING for their country but backpack around the interstates until their mommys/daddys fish them outta the sewers....

So I suppose your cure-all is drilling in the Arctic.

OK.

How much oil is really up there? Do we really know? Actually - the $1,000,000 question here is how much oil is up there that is economically feasible to extract? What if it's only 10 or 20 years' worth? Then what?

Sooner or later, you need a real solution - you need to move away from the fossil fuels. Sorry. The age of cheap oil and cheap gas is over. You can accept it now, or accept it later. Which is it going to be?

Again, making assumptions, hope you feel better.

My uncle has been in a mental ward since returning from Vietnam, never been able to say a word to me. Last I checked, Bush was not president during Vietnam.

All of this is distracting from the looney statements that Bush has caused the homless problem, and an even loonier statement made here that half of america is homeless..
