Meh Pence is like the Al Gore of Republicans pretty boring guy. I'm sure he would be a safe bet for Republicans but the MAGA folks wouldn't vote for him.

The only Candidate that can go toe to toe with Trump and probably get the nom is Desantis. That is Why Trump is terrified of him and has been attacking him.

And with how badly the midterms went for Trump and how Desantis hit it out of the park the Republicans will be begging Desantis to Run.

Yep. I don't need some loudmouth putting on a show or calling people names. It would be good to have someone who can set a decent example for the youth of America, unlike what Trump did. A President doesn't put on shows, doesn't need to rant and rave and hold rallies. Just be smart, honest, fair, decent, well spoken, respectful, that sort of thing. Have the guts to do the right thing. And be middle of the road!

Donald Trump has now come down the escalator for a second time, with similar prospects and goals.

Let the left-wing hysteria begin again! If it ever stopped from the last time.

We don't need a team player. DC is full of corrupt team players on both sides. We need someone willing to destroy the corrupt system currently in place, rid us of the corrupt politicians in DC now and set us back to the path of the actual US Constitution. I don't know if Trump is the one or not, but I am 100% sure it won't be a team player that does it, if it ever gets done.

Trump was a great President, now the supposed Republicans have all ran away from him. If he is smart, he will just return the betrayal and let America go under. He can afford it.

Let's face it, with the late night counting and the finding of ballots day after day when the election is long since over, no one will ever get enough votes to oust the democrats anyway, and that includes Trump.

There is an old saying: You can vote in socialism, but you always have to shoot your way out of it. Sooner or later we go down as a nation and that usually means revolution and civil war. I hope I am gone before that happens.

You think the MAGA folks would vote for Desantis over Trump in a primary? I'm honestly curious about that one. Desantis does great in Florida but would that popularity hold in a national election?

I would never vote for Desantis. He is a climate denier and I will never vote for anyone who values the kickbacks from BP and Exxon more than they value the fate of our planet.

Oh not to worry, we are all delighted he's running.

I hope he kicks DeSantis to touch as well.

It means Democrats will win election again, hands down in 2024. Hurrah!

Pence is afraid of Trump obviously or he would speak his mind many others put party before democracy. Ted Cruz and others who were actively working to postpone the electoral count, and push it into a contested election where the house would vote Trump in are the ones who were just as bad as Trump.

Governor DeSantis does have several environmental initiatives, taking place in Florida, such as the restoration of the Everglades.

Honestly, I believe the Republican Party would greatly benefit from offering some sane environmental policies to counteract the insanity and lunacy being offered by the Democratic Party.
