In 2016 I think a lot of people voted for trump because they didn't want Hilary as a president. Seems like people in the US show up to vote when it's agonist something they hate

He lost any respect I gained for him defending democracy on January 6th by doing his damn job and not listening to a bunch of anarchists threatening to hang him with his ABC News interview from yesterday. The guy would let the people decide that a guy who allowed anarchists to threatened his life and his family if he is "ineligible." Mike Pence is a spineless gutless worm. He is an enabler and enablers are just as guilty as the criminal.

I'll always respect Pence for what he did on Jan 6th.
I can't think what might have happened without him and others who defended Democracy that day.
If it were not for his ridiculous religious leanings I would actually agree with you. I was very impressed with how he handled himself on Jan 6th. Never thought I would hear myself say that.
I agree that will hurt him. And that is a shame, he is one of the few trustworthy people out there.
Democrats couldn't be more pleased. If the Repubs put Trump up for election in 2024, he is going to lose. Independents and moderates do not like the election denialism and all the other baggage Trump will bring along with him in what will be his third bid for the presidency. Look at what happened to the so called "red wave" that Republicans were hoping for.
I would like to see Pence, DeSantis, Trump and not many others. If there is another field of 17.....Trump will win again. His base is loyal. It's not the majority of Repubicans but it is enough that if there is a huge field, he might pull off the primaries.
