Let's see how "broke" Disney is, when Little Mermaid comes out, next year! That joint has Black Panther expectations.....!

Which you just did, BTW. More personal attacks. Unbelievable.

So maybe stop doing that and my posts will go away.

Can you do that? Can you state: People shouldn't be called names because they do NOT want to watch a movie.

No? Can't help yourself?

Then put me on ignore. Because here come more posts.
You're not understanding. Nobody is telling you to watch a movie. Furthermore, if someone is calling you a racist, a homophobe, etc, it is not because you don't want to watch a movie. That is on you. You clearly have an interest in LGBQT issues since you post so much about them. Again, that is on you. Maybe some self reflection is in order. IDK and I don't care. I am NOT attacking you. If you feel attacked, that is, again, on you. Shrug.

I never heard any say that and never read anyone writing that.

What I have seen and heard is people stating Disney should stop making it the "primary focus" and basically force feeding the agenda into movies where it need not apply.

IOW - Try making a lot of regular movies and just some of the other. You know, try having the same ratio as what actually exist in the world. Try not to over represent at such a massive level where movies no longer appeal to the majority of people because the majority of people can't relate to the content.

You know, use common sense.

But hey, if they prefer to keep losing money on films, have at it. Just don't expect me to pay them to watch something of absolutely no interest to me.

Actually is you watch shows on CNN and MSNBC, they do say these things about people who have no interest in watching certain movies which have no appeal to them. They call these people all kinds of names, hence the reaction you see here.

Is that a serious comment? Giving props to someone who blackballed a whole bunch of innocent folk and destroyed their careers, livelihoods and lives?

McCarthy was right. We found that out from information obtained from Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. McCarthy should have been given free reighn to ferrett out all of the communists in US government, schools, unions, Hollywood, and the media.

McCarthy was right.

The Vindication of Joseph McCarthy

But evidence accumulated from a variety of sources—including Soviet archives—since the end of the Cold War in the early 1990s shows that McCarthy’s charges were, in numerous cases, neither false nor hysterical—but correct.

A wealth of important and pertinent data has become available during the past twenty years, including McCarthy’s papers, which were unsealed by the Senate in 2003. Where are the scholarly studies finally telling the whole truth about this cruelly demonized figure? Where is the attempt to set right the historic record about this unjustly vilified patriot? Except for the excellent biography Blacklisted by History by journalist M. Stanton Evans, such studies do not exist.

Why not?

Because of the dirty little secret mentioned above. American journalists and intellectuals have romanticized socialism — full socialism, real socialism — so much that they cannot bring themselves to see that communism is evil and that a man who exposed this evil within the U.S. government is a hero for having done so.

Female superheros date back to Wonder Woman in the 1940's. Ms. Marvel (now Captain,) She-Hulk and Spider-Woman all debuted way back in the 1970's while Invisible Woman of Fantastic Four and Jean Grey of X-Men both date back to the 1960's. Marvel before Disney purchased it had female superheros and even DC has before Warner and now Discovery got it. Hell, before Disney purchased Saban, there were strong female characters in the Power Ranger franchise. This post really comes off rather sexist and ignorant to media. Hell, Princess Leia and even Padame in Star Wars were strong female characters long before the modern era.

How could you possibly misunderstand this post to the point of thinking I said no female superheroes existed in the original creations and that Star Wars characters were not already “strong”?

Again with the personal attacks. I’m sexist now. Okay.
