Judging by the people on this forum, it seems that most that participated seem to think a firearm is a preferred weapon of choice. I wonder what a factual and honest consensus of the people in the US would result in. Something tells me that the anti-gun crowd doesn't really represent the majority which would be funny considering they claim to speak for it all too often. No wonder they want to get rid of guns, it would be dangerous to their health for the people to have them when they started pushing their additional laws. *chuckle*

I think the vats majority of people in the United States have little fear of attack in their homes. I'm sure quite a few don't even consistently lock up their homes when they go to bed. The more fearful types seem to gravitate to guns because it makes them feel safer.

I went to Thailand and never locked my house. I had no worries as I know my neighbors have my back.
Fear?? No I don't think so. Its more about making sure the bad guy actually gets the reward he deserves if they make the mistake of threatening me or mine.
