The Democrats will go broke funding their socialist programs. The Republicans, fearing the broke Democrats will try and take their money, launch a preemptive war and go broke funding their war machine.

I would say there would be probably a huge drop in the amount of Rap. But Republicans have never hated rap music for its beats/melodies/rhymes. They hate rap music for its message, and especially the videos that usually accompany rap music.

The sad thing is, Republicans are actually hypocrites, they defend freedoms until they don't agree with them. I would actually hope that the Republican country becomes almost a theocratic democracy. I find no point in defending the freedoms of the advocates for immorality.
You brought up some good points...but I think Limbaugh WOULD have to continue to stroke the egos...continue telling them how right they are and how superior...otherwise they would have to feel guilty about all those dead and sick people lying on the side of the road.

They would bribe the Republicans and the Republicans would gladly accept the bribe, because really...the Republicans would quickly realize that they wouldn't be able to make a good movie or television show. People would just accept it and go back to how they were because, like now, the government is so powerful on convoluted they don't know what the F is really going on not to mention there is nothing they can really do about it (besides switch between the same old bad ideas every four years). It would be like it is now...only a few years later.
I think that is kind of a foolish notion. I really don't think the Republican country would really care to take back the Democratic country. If it were to happen it would have a lot more to do with how each countries boundaries are drawn. Everyone loves the coast.

You are aware the largest expansion of Medicare/Medicaid in this nation was by Bush and his GOP congress right?

Honestly, I would really love a Christian theocratic republic. And I'm practically an Atheist. I am just completely disgusted by the moral decline of this country.

Surely you jest.....

The Christians claim the majority of the country is Christian, yet simultaneously warn about the moral decline of this country. Couldn't we conclude that the majority of the problem is with them and not the rest of us?

Do you think if he U.S became a Christian Theocratic Republic that people would compete to be holier than their neighbor to get high position in society?

The problem right now is, most Christians seem to be more worried about upholding the faulty constitution. They are the ones sitting around defending the freedom of speech/the press/religion, while at the same time condemning it. They cannot create a coherent argument for why on any legal basis why they have the power to control what is shown on TV or played on the radio. Their defense of the constitution allows for muslims to stand in our streets blaring their hatred for America. They become such hypocrites when they complain about everything from illegal drugs, to "the muslim question", and to things like rap music and pornography.

The truth is, they would be better off abandoning the constitution and creating a Christian theocracy where they could control everything in the promotion of a better and more moral society. But how could they abandon the freedoms that they seem to cherish?

Neither because, neither one alone in it's purest form is far from ideal. That's why we don't have just one of them.....having only two is bad enough. The majority are independent....which is the same as neither.

Neither because what they all say to get elected is very different than what they do once in office. Would prefer to live in a Conservative/Liberal split which speaks to definitive positions. Right now, I have no idea what Democrats and Republicans believe in.
