Your so right, when people ridicule, and belittle and go after someone's family the way so many did to Palin, it is usually because of the fear you are talking about, they won't admit to it, but they are scared of something or someone, the someone was Palin. There were things about Biden that did not come out WHY!

Those virtues that you mention are so easlily debunked when speaking of Frau Palin. The American Flag? What does she do with it that makes her more patriotic than anyone else? I'd really love to know.

Be careful what you wish for. After 4 years of Obama/Biden, a Palin/Bachmann or Bachmann/Palin ticket just may be appealing to many voters. I highly doubt, though, that the above will be the nominees.
I think a better word to describe Palin instead of liberals being "scared" of her is her being a threat.
She has nothing to hide, bold, likable, smart, willing to drill, not into spending, lower taxes, more border patrol, bring all military home, and bring gold back to $300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. I don't know that she would have been up to the task. I don't know that she would have done well in the position. Maybe. But one thing I'm damn sure of--she wouldn't have led us into the tyranny that we now face and have to try to figure a way to get out of.
