Actually, I'm happy that Lieberman is doing what he can to stop this nonsense. My political views are more conservative than liberal, but I don't know anyone (even out of my Democratic friends) who thinks that the current senate bill is actually a solution to the healthcare cost and access issue.

This guy is SO listening to citizens, who overwhelmingly oppose the bill.

Thank you Joe! Standing on principle instead of being bought and paid for by a political party.

Maybe seeing this poll from Rasmussen would support those who agree with Lieberman and the rest of us.

Health Care Reform - Rasmussen Reports™

This poll has been about the same since THEY started trying so hard to get us headed toward socialized medicine.

Once Again, Leiberman Shoves His Thumb Into the Public's Eye
Sorry, but he is on the side of the public, who DO NOT want either of the bills in congress to pass.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Obama and Democrats' Health Care Plan

The more we hear, the less there is to like, as ALL the polls show.

How is not being in favor of expanding Medicare be seen as being bought by the health insurance industry, when organizations like AARP make most of their money off selling Medicare supplemental insurance? Not to mention the complete financial disaster that Medicare has become.

Keep drinking the Kool-aid pal.

That poll is not about this bill. I disagree strongly with the bill. I agree that there needs to be healthcare reform?

See the difference?

The lying pieces of crap democrats in congress are scamming you and you cannot see it?

Just a few years ago they lousy bums wanted to raise the SS age to 70 from 65 to wipe out millions of baby boomers and now all of a sudden they want to add millions to the cost.

This 55 idea is a total scam. Just another way the demwits can control anyone who is 55+ healthcare.

Talk about stupid, who would want this at 55 when you know they will be controlling your Health care and telling you what you can do and what you cannot do.

Then they seem to forget it will only cover losers who have no retirement money, no assets and no savings. Another handout for bums and another bunch of $ paid for by those who have done things right.

Lieberman is being honest and you cannot stand it.

The PUBLIC, yes, 61% of us DO NOT WANT THIS BILL TO PASS yet you point at Lieberman.

Better get ready for a house cleaning for those who vote for this scam the taxpayer bill.

Why are not you not raising hell with all those other dems who will not vote for this. Even one of your VP candidates McCaskill says she wont vote for this because of the massive cost.
