Regarding my earlier post about not cutting funding for Israel, I do believe that's something we need to look long and hard at in the very near future. So I've not entirely decided that they should be funded. Although I have to say, 3 billion dollars certainly sounds like a lot less money than it did a couple of years ago. Just think of the money all of the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on the Iraq war could've helped this country.

It surprises me negatively that so many commentators do not understand the special status of Israel & Jewdaism in American politics...

Most American Jews vote Democrat. Most of the die hard Israel fanatics are Republicans. Hmmm...now how could this be....?

it's just another little political irony.

right now, i think most americans, republicans and democrats, are tired of seeing american capital fleeing overseas.
